I always enjoy coming out here. I have a lot of friends out here. I've played the tournament a number of times. So really, I'm just going to hope that the weather stays great the week we're here. |
I can't say I agree with the rule, but I got to my hotel at 1 a.m.. I went trick-or-treating, left Oklahoma City at 9 p.m. But I wanted to play in this tournament. |
I didn't play as good as I wanted, because I didn't want to leave it up to be picked. But I wanted to make this team. It will be fun playing for Jack, and it's fun to represent your country. |
I don't remember a shot that I hit, ... But I remember every shot he hit. |
I drive it straight, hit decent iron shots and the greens are pretty nice here. I know my way around. |
I feel good about the way I'm scoring. My golf swing still feels like I took two months off. |
I just hope this time my ball goes in and I drive that car off that's standing in the water. |
I lost in a playoff a couple of years ago. I know my way around this course pretty good. I beg to differ. We'll see what happens. |
I really didn't ever have to work for a birdie. I think the longest birdie putt I made was probably 6 feet. |
I say it every year, Tuesday at noon when I open the door to that airplane, that hot air comes rushing in. It's like the greatest day of the year. It's adios, California. |
I think it's a step in the right direction. It rewards a guy playing well at that time. |
I totally choked it on 17. I should have won it right there. |
I want to win so bad. Sometimes you just get so uptight. I don't know. I think it's just I'm going to have to find a comfort zone. |
I was happy when he gave me a little eight-inch (putt) at the last. He said, 'That's good,' and I went, 'Thank God.' I was kind of thinking if I won today, I'd probably practice a little bit, but I think I already did. |
