We are going to take each challenge one at a time and try to bring the team their second one-two finish in the championship. |
We didn't really chase lap times but the car was consistent and I'm very confident that we will have a good starting point when we come back in June. We got a lot done and I think we accomplished most of what we wanted to do. |

We picked up on where we left it last year. It's a very good feeling to be able to secure a front row starting position. |
We still increased our [points] lead, so it is good for Newman/Haas Racing. |
What can I say? The facts are talking for themselves. Once again, there's hiccups on the way with him. |
When I saw P.T. hit the wall, I was very surprised because he makes few mistakes. That's not the kind of mistakes he makes when he performs like that. It just emphasizes the point that it's really difficult to have a clear race here. I'm just glad he did. |
When I saw PT in the wall, I was very surprised because PT makes very few mistakes and that's not the kind of mistake he makes when he's up front like that. I am just glad we did it. Second year in a row it was very important for us for Centrix and PacifiCare, for everybody. |
You need something -- I wouldn't say you need luck -- but you need things not to be against you. I think that's what we saw last year in the second half of the season. I think it is quite easy to realize that being able to stay at the top in three consecutive seasons is extremely difficult. The real thing that saves us is that we all realize that you can drop off very easily. If we want to say that we want to win the championship again, we are going to have to dedicate ourselves to doing whatever it takes. The Mexico City race just illustrated that point for everyone because it showed what can happen and what other teams are capable of doing. |
You're the champion, so let's go win this race. |
