And at this age we don't want to push the child. If they want to go inside and have a cocoa, we take them inside. We encourage them to go out and ski, but we don't force them. We want them to enjoy the whole experience. |
And when class ends we want to make sure that first experience has been a good one. We do everything we can to make classes fun. |
It's important that their first experiences are good ones. Good weather, good snow and a skilled teacher all help. |
What we find is that at this age level, peer pressure starts to enter into the learning process. Children between the ages of 4 and 6 are more socially active. Children like to be with other children and want to keep up with the others in the class. It's a faster learning process. |
