It should totally eliminate the smell. That way, it'll be here; it will be convenient for the city to use on our projects, and maybe if the city elects to sell modified topsoil, they can do that, too. That's something we definitely don't want to waste. |
We're going to move (the co-compost) off of the pad where it is, and we're going to go up along the south fence of the landfill, and we're going to mix that 50-50 with topsoil. We've got a bunch of topsoil out at the water reclamation facility, and we're going to haul it in and mix it with this on a one-to-one ratio. |
We've got about 5,000 yards of topsoil out there. It will work really well, and it will be a really good product when we're done. Really, we haven't lost anything because we've got all that topsoil that we do not need there, and we can enhance it and have it available for use on any city projects and maybe even some for sale to the public. |
