I feel all of the responsibility for that. I did not get as much out of these guys as they had to give. |
I feel better that our key people are very confident, very stable. I feel worse that we definitely don't have the depth. We have more depth inside than we had last year, but no experience. And we have no experience or depth inside or outside in comparison to what we lost. |
I feel for that kid. He's only been in six or seven practices in the last two months so we can't even do what we want to do with him yet. |
I feel real comfortable that who we are playing and who we could play does not throw up any red flags. I'm looking at it like I'm definitely packing for two days the first weekend, and then I'm not going on spring break the second weekend. There's no plans in the foreseeable future, so I'm planning on playing some basketball. |
I felt bad for him missing those free throws because he's been shooting so well from the line. And yet, it goes to show that you can't take a lot of time off and feel like you're still the same player. |
I felt good only because it gives you a chance. It's definitely still not in our own hands but it does give you a chance. |
I guess it could happen to us, but I look at it the other way. If we can go deep into this tournament, I think mentally it will be a big feather in our cap and then we can ride that a little bit. |
I have encouraged him to (speak out). My opinion is he has some facts to get straightened out. I don't know if he will or not. |
I kind of respect and understand his theory, because it's a lot like mine. He looks at it like the only way he's getting to the NCAA tournament is to win his league, so if he can go out and play some of the best teams and sell that in recruiting and it makes the university some money. |
I know a little bit about them. I can't say I know a ton about their team, but I'm happy to know that my video guy's got five or six tapes on them already, so tonight we should get a lot of work done and be ready to go by Friday. |
I know how to move my body. He made a little bit of a mistake, and I took advantage of it. He gave me a little time to take it, and I took it. |
I know there's a train wreck coming. |
I look at our record and eight losses is more than I'd like to see, but I also look at it like, I haven't lost any confidence in this team. I'm disappointed maybe in the consistency of a couple guys, but I haven't lost confidence in what I think we can still do. ... There's nobody I'm afraid to play, and I just want to start playing better, consistently, ourselves. |
I look at the stats and kind of see a different game than I watched. I didn't really like the game I watched, to be honest with you. But the stats say we did some things well. And I was very proud of Maurice Ager and Paul Davis at halftime. They vowed we'd be better defensively in the second half, and we were. |
I love the way Maurice handled himself as far as encouraging guys; he was awesome in the huddles. He's probably the most even-keel guy on our team. |
