That might be the one piece there that solves this whole tragedy. |
That's an obvious statement. |
The good thing is I don't think there's anything this league can dish out that I haven't seen before. I'll be well prepared. I prepare every game like I'm going to start. If they need me to go in there, I'll be ready to go in there and help the team win. |
The way this business goes, when you get knocked down or don't play very well, you're excited to go back out on the field. Normally, you get to get back out the next week, but it's harder when you have to wait a little bit. |
There were no players there, so I had to throw to some of the coaches. I only threw 10 passes before Mike said, 'Why are you here? Why hasn't someone signed you already? |
We knew coming in it was going to be a dog fight. We knew that their defense was going to play well and that it was going to be a tough day and we got exactly what you ask for. We fought through and had a chance to win in regulation and a chance to win in overtime, but I didn't get it done. |
We know where we want to go, and we know what we have to do to get there. I think sometimes you have to be reminded of that. You can take those situations and use them for a positive note, if you handle them the right way. |
We'll see what happens. |
We've had quite a bunch of things brought in ... every type, from real small there, to some larger pieces. |
When it first happened, I didn't think I'd be back this quick, but even by Sunday, when I came in for treatment before the team left (for San Diego), I started feeling a lot better, |
Yeah, I would say so, |
You don't want your teammate to be hurt, first and foremost. It's a balance, because you want to play, you want to be the guy in there but you want all the guys to be healthy, and you want what's best for the team. We'll see how that goes as the week goes on and see what happens. |
You're always excited about the opportunity to play, and this is no different, ... I'm excited about going out and seeing what happens. |
