Aaron is a class player and person. He has the tools to play well at shortstop and did a good job for us last year. He came back this season and proven to be a team leader. |
Andrew will be our No. 1 or No. 2 starting pitcher in the rotation. He throws consistently in the 89 to 93 miles per hour range. He will be our starting designated hitter in the No. 4 hole in the batting line-up. |
Brent is a good heads-up player in the outfield. David got a lot of work in a reserve role last year. He was an outstanding pinch hitter for us. He got four or five game-winning hits for us. |
Chris has some nasty stuff and is hard to hit his fastball at 90 mph. He throws some breaking pitches at times. We're expecting a lot of things from both Chris and Andrew. |
Eric will be our starting catcher and he is a solid defensive catcher. He is making progress at the plate. |
He's a change of pace pitcher out of the bullpen. |
He's healthy right now. Matt is a good hitter and we're going to use him as our lead-off hitter. He plays well in the field. |
It should be functional before our games start this spring. |
Luke has really developed as a strong pitcher since coming here. Bobby Mack is a right-hander who is a solid pitcher and we'll use him out of the bullpen. |
We have some questions to answer. We're fairly young this year and we'll make mistakes early. The conference gets better each year as schools continue to upgrade in recruiting and facilities. |
We were blessed with a pretty mild winter this year and we've been able to play outside most of the time. We have a good indoor facility but it's better to be able to practice outside as much as we can. |
What we envisioned is a place where the kids can study, and we'll have a place to watch videos of them on the field, as well as a place for them to store their stuff. |
