I have noticed that with the people who used to come in and get their hair colored to stay young that it now seems to be more accepted in the workspace that if you've got a little gray hair you've got a little more gray matter as well and I think that's quite true. |
I have the same views as my guy, even though we were raised on different sides of the world. I'm sure I have more in common with him than I do someone from New York. I don't think we have biased opinions yet. You get those when you get older. We're still just kids. |
I have to admit there are some problems within the team, ... I don't want to go into details, but I will put it like this: good results may come only if there's a unity between players and coach. I can't say that this unity exists in the Belarus team at the moment. |
I have to tip my hat to my offensive linemen. We have some young guys playing, and they have done a great job all year. This team, we are so motivated. No matter how the game is going, we feel if we just stick in there, in the end we will come through with the win. |
I hope Hong Kong will be friendly and constructive. A lot of critics have strong feelings about the way these negotiations are progressing and they want to be heard. If there's no other way for them to articulate their point of view then violence can be the result. |
I hope that students were really excited about what happened today ... I hope that when they go back to campus they don't just keep the experience to themselves, but that they share it with their friends ... take it back to their organizations ... and get involved. |
I hope those guys can keep it together mentally and physically and get through any challenges they have. I don't really want to talk about anything specific, but I think they have their work cut out for them. Hopefully, the can stay professional and get through it. |
I informed him it's in his best interests, and ours, to look for another opportunity and we're assisting him and helping him with a Division II opportunity. He's a good kid. We really like Bruce, but feel like it was in our best interests, and his, to part company. |
I just hate to see that he has to deal with the same problem he's dealt with before. It's disheartening. He's the ultimate inspiration to anybody who has a dream to play professional football. The ultimate underdog who nobody gave a chance. He's had a great career. |
I just know he wanted to be in Anaheim, or in L.A., and that's obviously why he left Detroit. He'd been there his whole career, so he must have wanted to go. Now, I don't know if this is what he had planned, but that's part of this game. You go where they want you. |
I just played pretty steady. This golf course is a difficult golf course so if you just hit fairways and greens and make a few putts here and there, you're going to win a bunch of holes. And I think that's the strength of my game -- keeping the ball in front of me. |
I just think we're playing good football now. I think we understand our mistakes. We acknowledged our mistakes amongst each other and within the coaching staff. So everyone is accountable. No one is throwing anyone under the bus, and we've just kept moving forward. |
I just wanted to try and help the team out as much as possible. Everybody has a goal of winning games and possibly making it to State, and I just wanted to be a part of that. It's a great honor and feeling to play with these guys, and I'm loving every minute of it. |
I kept telling them that someone was going to get ahead of us and then exploit our weaknesses. I think they already had it in their heads that oh yeah, we're going to beat this team. I told them you can never underestimate an underdog, but they did, and it cost us. |
I kind of like how Blythe Danner has navigated her career. I feel like she's done such a smart thing. She did interesting movies and then she had a family and now, at this point in her life, she's back doing television. Like Blythe, I feel like TV is my trump card. |
