I have to be 100 percent, no doubt. But I'm itching to get out there. I can't wait to play with this team and see how much better we can be with myself in the equation. If everything keeps moving at this pace and there are no setbacks, I should be out there before long. |
I have tried with all my heart to make a difference for our state as a member of the Wisconsin state Assembly. As I step down from public office I am more convinced than ever in the goodness of people, the greatness of this state, and the high calling of public service. |
I honestly don't believe a respected book like the Guinness Book of World Records has a category for pornography. If it does, however, I am SURE that having no nudity on my Web site would automatically disqualify me from competing with girls or Web sites of this nature. |
I hope that by doing what the state officials and mayors are doing now, are getting people who are invalids out of the way, encouraging people to leave early, that when the storm hits, there will be property damage but hopefully there won't be a lot of people to rescue, |
I just didn't know what to expect. . . . There's no substitute for experience. Now I realize I need to work a lot harder off the field. It's not about just getting out there and running, it's about studying and knowing your opponent and knowing the job you've got to do. |
I just lost place of where I was on the field. I thought he was in bounds. The ref told me he stepped out of bounds. But if he's trying to progress forward, it's natural for me to push him backwards. I think that's probably a judgement call. We just got to live with it. |
I just took everything into my hands. I tried to sometimes be more precise, not go for angles, just put the ball in the court. I was really forcing her to do those mistakes. That actually worked out well today. Serving very good helped me to finish off the match easily. |
I just wish that we had something where like after the game I got to talk about what happened down the stretch, why I did this or that. I wish we had something where the refs had to do it and explain what happened and why they did this and that. It just ain't fair, man. |
I kind of liked them all, starting with the one Robles hit. The others didn't take that long to get out of there. But the tone for today was set by the two starting pitchers out there. I thought they did a good job of getting done what they wanted to get done out there. |
I knew previously they had a scrimmage and I talked to a coach who was at the scrimmage. (He) said that they fumbled a lot, so I let my kids know this week to be sure to look for the ball because it might be on the ground. They saved us a few times by giving up fumbles. |
I knew they needed a three to get it to overtime. I saw him step back, and I knew he was going to try to put them on his shoulders. I just tried to get a piece of it. After Travis tipped it to me, I knew I just had to dribble off four seconds and we were going to state. |
I know a lot's being said about Rex, the eulogy of the team given that Rex is out. I want to make sure our fans know we're not here lamenting over Rex Grossman. It's unfortunate. ... We have a lot of confidence in our quarterbacks and (offensive coordinator) Ron Turner. |
I know it's a hard job, and a lot rides on that job, but I've got a lot of help around here. There's so much pitching talent, like Mel and Kerrigan, the guys that are in here. They're all going to help you. They're not going to overload you and let you sink by yourself. |
I know the numbers didn't look too good. However, the thing I was very impressed is that he, for the most part, pitched ahead, threw a lot of strikes and threw some very good breaking pitches. He went after hitters, and that's something we are very interested in seeing. |
I know you're supposed to set goals for yourself. I see all that motivational stuff on television. "Think about the future, what's next!" But I'm all into the journey. It's fascinating to me. So if I make certain what I want moment to moment, I'm cool at the crossroads. |
