With the dried blood stiff on my temples I climbed the hill, cursing the satanic way of men, yet knowing myself vile, for they had not known what they were doing, but I betrayed an innocent; and the tears - weak, whiskey tears - would not wash from my brow the blood of a little brother. |
With the many projects Lynda is currently involved in, we are thrilled she was able to find time to join our cast again. Our goal with Oblivion is to deliver the most unique and lifelike gaming experience, so adding her talent and personality to some of our characters was a perfect fit. |
With West Virginia holding one of the highest rates of heart disease in the nation, it's important to educate residents about ways they can improve their heart health. The program breaks the cycle of unhealthy habits and shows people not only how to manage heart disease, but prevent it. |
Without Gil Reed pushing this facility and the Pine Tree Zone incentives, we would be someplace else. This is a great facility. They have loading docks, they can do our shipping, they have a welding facility, there is plenty of electricity and Gil really sold us on the great work force. |
Xerox had ample opportunity in its release to comment on third-quarter results, but obviously opted not to do so. At present, we believe cost cutting is likely ahead of schedule and our estimate for third quarter 2003 remains a loss of 11 cents per share on a 15 percent revenue decline. |
Yeah, I did (think about it), ... Initially there, it looked like the grim reaper was sitting there on one of those crossbars, just overlooking the day. It seemed like everything we did, we got stopped on the field. But when we got (to overtime). I just thought it was our turn to score. |
Yes, absolutely. And they had great teams, and I'm not saying this isn't a great team, but their teams in the past were just tremendous teams, where you were just hoping to stay with them for a while. But you knew, sooner or later, that this is Lourdes and they're going to blow you out. |

Yesterday was a great practice with guys who came back like Johnny (Salmons) who was very good yesterday, and Kyle (Korver) and Andre (Iguodala). They uplifted the practice with the guys who are here trying to make a team. Everybody played pretty well. It was a great practice yesterday, |
You add in selective admissions, then you put Katrina and Rita on top of that, and you had so many students displaced from New Orleans. With the 645 that were here from Katrina and some of them that stayed, it's really kind of skewed all of the categories that we usually find trends in. |
You always study the players you go against. You try and stay ahead of it. Those guys are just too good to just show up on Sunday and think you're going to do well. Every week it seems like there's an all-star out there - to me, anyway. Every week is a rodeo. You just hope for the best. |
You are a rock star when you play in that city, regardless. We deal with that daily. Boston is ... unique. Boston is a small city, it's Sox Nation. People live, die, eat and breathe baseball. I think now our job as a group is to come in here and make everybody, you know, be a rock star. |
You can have a network of 20 or 30 clubs across different continents, all of which have a corrupt element. It sounds a bit like science fiction. It would involve agents, owners, sponsors. ... They would not just rig the results of one or two games, but 15 matches or a series of results. |
You can look at a number of things with Al. Obviously the accolades -- the Conn Smythe, the Norris Trophy, the Stanley Cup, renowned as the hardest shot in the league. But the leadership in the room. The way he approached the game. The way he carried himself. That was the biggest thing. |
You can review and play the tape. Both teams are dead even. Look at the series. First game is an overtime game and we won. The second game is 4-3, a one-goal game. The third game was 3-2 going in to the third period. (Thursday) night, same thing, it's an overtime game. It's a fine line. |
