I'm not going to be somebody I'm not, ... I'm going to be myself and I'm going to enjoy this experience, just like any other head coach does. ... I don't think [my style] will matter in the long term if we win. Whether I jump up and down on the sideline or whether I stand there and call plays quietly. |
I'm not the least bit shy about suggesting things to my players that make a lot of sense. I don't think it's overstepping my bounds to talk to guys about thinking about that big gold trophy that they give out at the end of the year. It's OK to win some of those. They look really nice on a mantelpiece. |
I'm proud of my kids. Those kids played outstanding football today. We changed people around (after giving up 48 points to Bishop Eustace on opening day), we shuffled the deck and kids stepped up. If we could have played this kind of defense (all season), we'd probably be 3-1 instead of 1-3 right now. |
I'm very happy that our players have been rewarded for what they've accomplished this season. We won 20 games overall and finished tied for second in the Western Athletic Conference, which is the ninth toughest conference in the country. I'm thrilled that our program and these kids have been rewarded. |

I've been on some great teams. I'm just really proud. I can't express enough how proud I am of this team. The personality. The get-after-it attitude every day. I expect no less these next four games. I told you guys this a month ago: It's probably going to come down to the final weekend in Washington. |
I've come a long way since the first day I showed up here. Anything can happen. We'll find out in a week what's going on. I feel good about everything. I feel I've had a decent spring. I've learned a lot. I still have a lot more things to do. Spring is not over yet. I'd still like to see more pitches. |
I've had a tremendous experience with the girls' lacrosse program at Mount Hebron and got to be around so many great players and coaches, ... It was a tough decision for me, but I felt that I needed to spend time coaching my two kids so I won't look back and say that I missed this part of their lives. |
I've never had (a) beef with World. Personally, we were teammates. We understood that. I understood that. As the primary (option) on this team, I felt it was my responsibility to have the ball come through me, and I consolidated and distributed to everybody. I don't know if World was bothered by that. |
I've said all year - coach is going to make sure the effort is there. He's not going to put guys on the floor that aren't going to play hard. Regardless of the way our situation is, if we had seven, he'd make sure those seven played hard or you don't play. We're going into the game with that mind-set. |

If anything, I want to strengthen our partnership with him because I think this improves our ability to better engage the community as part of our policing efforts. That's the whole basis of everything we are trying to do, and we want to expand the amount of information we make accessible to citizens. |
If he thinks about it like that, it is an advantage, but it would be nice to have 30 more pounds on him. Size means a lot at that (weight class). He definitely moves better than any heavyweight. What Cain has over everybody else is his heart. He's relentless in his training and in the way he competes. |
If I told people I thought he was going to play like that, I'd be lying. I told many people behind the scenes that this guy is a remarkably talented athlete with remarkable poise. To play like that, first game, 18 years old. I'm just glad he's on my team, and I'm glad he's a freshman. Just remarkable. |
If Iraq adopts and ratifies a constitution and elects a government, it will have a significant positive effect on public opinion and on people's willingness to sustain casualties and support the war. But if events on the ground devolve into less desirable conditions, popular support is likely to wane. |
