It's one of those things where you know the team is better than the way we've played. We see it from time to time. Trouble is, our bad stretches last a little longer, which comes from us having a younger team. We haven't been able to figure out how to kick ourselves in the behind and bounce back faster. |
It's quite autobiographical. It talks about relationships. The last record was naïve because we were. At that point, we would have done anything to succeed. And it's easy to get distracted and surround yourself with toys. But I wanted to get back to a sense of normality. I needed that sense of reality. |
It's so funny what this song did, ... I went to a movie the other night and when we came out there were a bunch of kids -- around 14 or 15 years old -- with their hats on backwards and sloppy clothes. They were so excited to see Kenny Rogers. They had heard the music before but it wasn't cool until now. |
It's something I look forward to. For instance, I love going down to Lufkin and playing at Abe Martin Stadium. I've played there two years and it was real hostile. I am just looking at this as another game. I am not going into it with fear, I am just looking to enjoy it and do what I can to help us win. |
It's the same thing I said yesterday . . . we didn't block them very well. We had two false starts, two penalties on the offensive line and four sacks. That's enough to stop some drives right there. That's pretty much what happened. But we've got it fixed. I think we can certainly do better than we did. |
It's the same-old, same-old. We can't guard anybody. We don't do a good job of getting back. [The Celtics] got 33 points on the fast break, and it looked like they could have had 100. It's almost like people script plays against us. We gave up 40 points in the first quarter, and that just sets the tone. |
It's very much a transformation, ... Jerry had the tragedy of Jonathan's passing, and one of the biggest and most controversial transactions in the history of the media industry, which goes from being a great accolade to being just pilloried by one and all. That's hard to take at the end of your career. |
It's worth bearing in mind that Hamlet makes poor Danish history and that Lawrence of Arabia grossly oversimplifies the politics and cultures of the Middle East. I don't mean to say that drama should never concern itself with factual accuracy, only that a work of art must be judged by a higher standard. |
Its passage would lead to a better business model for New York racing, and thus strengthen the upcoming bids for the current NYRA franchise. Most importantly of all, this legislation would increase purses, improve breeding farm economics, and help assure the future viability of the industry in New York. |
Ivory is a character. I don't think she really cares what she does. She just tries to be unique. She's the (Terrell Owens) of women's basketball. When she makes a hustle play or a steal, she might give you a dance or a wink to let you know that she's fired up. You just never know what she's going to do. |
Jaime is one of the toughest competitors in college hockey, yet off the ice he is one of hockey?s finest citizens. He has had a major impact on the growth of community service participation during his time at the University of Vermont. This is a tremendous honor for Jaime, his family and the university. |
Jimmy is more of a scoring point guard. For us to be successful this season, he had to score a lot. He also added 4.5 assists per game. He is a very good athlete and could have played any sport, but we were fortunate enough to have him choose basketball. I believe he will be successful at Robert Morris. |

Just as the tongue, made of flesh and blood, is protected within the scissors of the thirty-two teeth - who thinks that the power lies in the flesh or the scissors? Everything is in the Power of the Lord. In just the same way, when someone slanders the Saint, the Lord preserves the honor of His servant. |
Kids with ADHD tend to have reading problems, so that's one outlet that's less open to them. They have peer problems. They often are not very good at sports, so that's another outlet less open to them. Part of the reason they watch more TV may be because that's one of few things they can comfortably do. |
