I've put a premium on hitting fairways. I've been backing down to a 3-iron or even my rescue club if I needed it in the fairway and wasn't real confident with a 3-wood or driver. A 5-under around here two days in a row are great days. The consistency and the fact I have played solid is definitely a positive. |
If an academic unit wishes to be relocated, the university can offer to house it for up to one year. This offer includes 4 bedroom apartments, residence hall, could take 300 to 400 students and faculty of about 20 with families; classrooms available morning and night; financial arrangements to be worked out. |
If consumer confidence holds steady, and consumers spend the money from tax cuts, and once business see a clear sign of a rebound in sales, then around September or October, they're going to budget and change their targets for capital spending. Then, it takes a couple of months to hire people and get set up. |
If he had any type of run support, he'd have 20 wins easily. He's been that impressive. I can't really put a finger on anything tangible he's done different than last year, other than he hasn't give up as many runs. ... He hasn't changed his approach, he hasn't changed his stuff. His velocity hasn't gone up. |
If I had to say why we started the way we did it was because we wanted it so bad. We knew what to do but we were a step slow on everything. And I just like how we grew in our confidence, we never lost focus on the game plan, and after the game got going, emotions were put aside and we just played basketball. |
If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I'd probably be skeptical myself. I've been to the Oregon coast and taken pictures of seals. I've been on the beach with them. I've watched them at Bandon and at Florence. I do know what they look like and I have no doubt it was a seal. I'd swear it on a stack of Bibles. |
If kids have an early start, they have the skills necessary to fight off a bully or someone trying to sell them drugs. Kids are resilient. If someone tries to get them into drugs, they have the skills to say no because someone talked to them about the importance of standing up for themselves at an early age. |

If my competitive level in my game is solid like it's starting to show signs of, I'd much rather go out there and play the regular tour because I still hit the ball long enough. I feel like I'm above average than most players, even on the regular tour, so why not get out there and compete against those guys? |
If my mother can set up her own broadband connection — and she did — then it has become a technology that is reasonably user-friendly to everybody. As more and more people go to the Internet just to pass the time, just for fun, it becomes a destination, just like turning on the TV traditionally has been. |
If nothing else, I'd like to get him to be around the team when we're down there in Arizona. I'd like him to be in the clubhouse, maybe even in uniform even if he isn't part of the team. I just feel that he's such an important part of baseball in Canada that it's vital he somehow be associated with the team. |
If oil hit $100, it would have quite a debilitating effect, ... The economy would slow to a crawl. We'd have a return to stagflation, that cliché from the 1970's. We'd see a huge cutback in driving. The sacrifices would be severe. It would be another blow to the airlines and the whole transportation sector. |
If someone gave you this cap, ... and said, 'How would you like to manage the New York Yankees ?' I can't think of anybody who would have a second thought about saying anything but, 'Yes.' I don't know what the consequences are. But in order for this to be satisfying, you have to have pitfalls along the way. |
If that happens it would be a tremendous partnership in which their usage of the building would end in the late afternoon and they would not need it on weekends. That would provide the league a revenue source to pay the overhead, and allow us to continue to offer batting cages and build the training back up. |
If there are any indications that this could be the last cut, the market might be disappointed -- but the good news would be that the Fed is confident we are in an economic rebound. In essence, the market could work its way higher because better economic times ahead would include better earnings performance. |
