We did pretty well. We moved the ball against Jenks and we moved the ball against Westmoore. It gave us a little bit of the scenario for what Friday night will be like. It was good for us. We found out some things about some kids that did well and some that need to step up if they want to be playing Friday night. |
We didn't have to buy land. We didn't have to pay for infrastructure, that was already there. We didn't have to pay for 25,000 parking spaces. So you start adding all that up and it's probably another US$150 million. So if you throw all that in, the total cost of our stadium was probably closer to US$600 million. |
We don't lose anything from Saturday, as long as we learn from it. I'll be more concerned if we keep repeating the same mistakes from today. I don't know if it's a chemistry thing. It's easier to fix the physical pieces of it. Most physical mistakes happen because we're out of position, which is a mental mistake. |
We don't want to disrupt anything that's student-based. We won't be asking people to not participate in extracurricular activities that benefit students, ... We want to continue to work and provide the best service we know how, and we're not going to harm our students at all, but there are other means of protest. |
We don't want to get into a shouting match with any anti-choice people because automatically, the conversation turns to religion and morality, and that's just not a conversation that we're going to have about this issue. It's not a religious issue, it's not a moral issue. It's a medical issue and a privacy issue. |
We expect China to grow its share of revenue at the expense of other large markets like Korea and Australia, primarily. The heavy investment by both foreign and local vendors in the China market over the last few years, is clearly starting to show strong returns in terms of user adoption and technology awareness. |
We expect to prove that the studies on which the Clinton administration based its ban were flawed and highly prejudiced. What's more, in the previous decision-making process, the public was prevented from participating as fully as the law allows. The agreement helps ensure that that won't happen this time around. |
We feel very fortunate to get a player like Jamaal. Obviously, Desmond was a big part of what we've done. He's a fan favorite and a favorite of the organization. But you have to give up talent to get talent. And anytime you get a quality big man you certainly have to give up quality. Both of us got a good player. |
We had a great run [five playoff berths in six years] and had great success a couple of seasons ago. Obviously, we had to rebuild our team. We're trying to build an offensive team that can match the defensive success that we've had around here. We do have some building blocks in place, and for that we're excited. |
We had great sneaks. The capacity was 78 percent, which we're very happy about. They loved it. We had 99 percent in the top two boxes and the excellent (score) was 78 percent. It was definitely females over 30 -- exactly what we expected. And we know the picture has potential to crossover (to a broader audience). |
We had three strong events today. We looked good on vault, bars and beam. On floor, the training caught up to us. Our legs weren't there. I am extremely proud of the way we competed out of the blocks to start the season. We still have a long way to go. We watered down some routines as far as difficulty and skill. |
We have a class of materials in which we can change the components nearly at will. There is no other class of materials where one can do that. The exciting discovery we are reporting is that, using a new material, we have identified a clear path for how to get above 7 percent of the material's weight in hydrogen. |
We have a lot of kids who have jobs, who are out for other sports or have little brothers and sisters to take care of and they just can't stay at school until six o'clock every night. What the seventh-period PE program allows us to do is work with them until the final bell of the day - and maybe a half-hour more. |
We have already started to discuss this issue with Chinese oil companies. We would like to have a firm in the People's Republic of China that would allow us to operate on the retail market. We would be more eager to make much larger shipments to China if we had an opportunity to sell oil products in that country. |
We have been a team that hasn't had three-quarters of our salary cap for a large part of the season but we just keep battling and keep working. It's a compliment to everyone in there. We have 28 guys and that's why you have rosters like that because you are going to have injuries and things throughout the season. |
