We need to find an identity. I think we've had good leadership, but when you get out here in the stadium in front of some more people -- just like obviously when the season comes with a lot more people in the crowd -- that's when we really need that leadership. I thought it was a little bit lacking in that area today. |
We played the best 29 minutes of basketball we played all season collectively, then we did everything wrong collectively in the last three minutes. We missed free throws, had quite a few turnovers. It was bad. But we were happy to respond so well against Pickerington North. The kids bounced back and showed some poise. |
We played them two years ago in a regional. [Lewis] was the starting point guard as a freshman, and he was better than anyone we had faced all season. They're an up-and-down-the-court team, and they like to bring pressure. I think the kids know they have to play the game of their lives if we're going to have a chance. |
We practiced lots and lots of tasks, we were prepared to do a lot things that we'd never done before, and that theory was sort of tested on this, and that's sort of the whole idea of going into space. You don't really know what your challenges are going to be ahead of time, so you practice everything you can think of. |

We realize our work is far from over. Even when we see impressive overall performance, we know that the average often includes some sub-par schools. We must continue to work even harder to uphold the charter model of excellence and accountability to improve them or weed them out. It must be about quality for our kids. |
We realize trade is very important to businesses, but it needs to be on an even level. You cannot expect an American worker to compete with young women and children in prison in China who are forced to work. How do you compete with that as a worker in the United States with a family and kids? The answer is, you don't. |
We see younger patients now, especially with cancer. At one time our average cancer patients were probably over 60 but now there are many more in their 40s, partly because we are identifying earlier. We are better educated and that is helping to drive down death rates. And with advancements we are catching it earlier. |
We started 14th and got off to a real good start and moved up pretty quick. I was running second on a lap 11 restart and I tried passing right away but couldn't make it happen. I just sort of hung around behind (Jim Young), and on a lap 18 restart I got beside him in one and two and made the pass down the backstretch. |
We tend to look at this and the Philadelphia index as an indication of what is going on in the overall economy. Most disturbing is that order backlogs are running over 50 percent, which is the glorified neutral. It's at 6 percentage points below, that's bad -- it shows companies are cannibalizing orders to move ahead. |
We think a good quality company with a long track record, like Compaq is going to find the right CEO and they're going to turn this boat around and it's going to be a lot higher than it is today. ... I think they've swept most of the bad news under the rug right now and we're looking at Compaq as really going forward. |
We threw one up, but we should have tackled the guy somewhere. We should have been able to run that guy down, but we couldn't do it. That was just one of the big plays in the game. Nah, 28-7 is no safe lead for us. We didn't force a punt in the second half, so it wasn't safe. They should have scored another touchdown. |
We truly love CSNY music, and so we're always waiting, and what happens is that we have lives to lead, too, so, you know, at some point we have to say, well, you know, I can't wait any longer we have to book a tour because, you know, they take three, four months of preparation before we actually step out on the stage. |
We want the players to have a framework to evaluate business opportunities put in front of them. The sporting theme (inspires) much more passion for a lot of people, but a lot of sporting ideas go bankrupt, so passion is not enough. You've got to have revenues come through the door and you've got to contain your cost. |
We want this to be one of the premier college events in the country. I think we're well on our way. If the weather can cooperate, I think what you're going to see is us get big crowds, and then, in future years, once those tickets go on sale, I think you're going to see it's going to be a hot ticket for people to get. |
