Right now it's a voluntary program for premises ID. It looks to me like our federal colleagues are continuing to refine the (program) as they learn more from the field experience of the various states. I can't say what the final product will look like, but they are aware of the concerns folks have, with cost especially. |
Right now, we're taking things one day at a time with Jeremy, and he knows he's under a huge microscope. So far he's done everything we've asked him to do. He knows this is a second chance for him and I think that's all he's looking for. He's not expecting anyone to give him anything. But it's out there for him to earn. |
Rising oil prices raise concern U.S. consumption will slow, leading to worries that exports from some Asian countries will shrink, and worsening the region's growth outlook. The higher fuel costs may also lead to concern corporate profits will be squeezed. These encourage foreign investors to sell the regional equities. |
Road wins are always great. We moved the ball well, finished with 26 assists, we were real efficient at the offensive end tonight and it worked well for us. Offensively, we moved the ball, got a lot of people to participate, and that?s great. Tim not scoring, he doesn't care. He had six assists tonight and led the team. |
San Francisco is a classic bike town, and it is beloved by everybody. In our online reader poll, more readers chose San Francisco than any other city but Portland. There is a culture of cycling ? there are bike clubs, there's the messenger culture and there are long-standing community activities centered around cycling. |
Seemingly harmless office pools can introduce the lure and excitement of gambling to the 5 to 8 percent of the population who cannot handle social gambling. A company-sanctioned office pool may be the first experience a person has with gambling, and employers need to be cautious about potentially problematic activities. |
She mixed well with the children and I was impressed by the fact that she put her own personal stamp to the day. Waddow Hall is a great place and I was impressed by how marvellous the children were and by the facilities they have. Overall, it was a great honour and privilege to represent the people of the Ribble Valley. |
She's been on a mission. She put in a great summer. It's something that is always in the back of her head. If she's tired in a workout or race then she reminds herself about what happened last year and how she doesn't want it to happen again. It's extra motivation when you've been so close and now you want it even more. |
She's got a couple of tears in the upper third of the tendon, which spells retirement. It's not horrible, but a filly like this, the way she's come around as of late, there's not even a question. It's just a shame. She couldn't have trained better since the race at Saratoga, but that's how these things happen sometimes. |
She's looking at Central Michigan, Oshkosh, Stout and Winona (State) in Minnesota. I'm very confident she'll be able to play college basketball. She's every kind of player a coach likes. She's a great everyday player. She sets a good example for the rest of the kids. I've been enjoying being her coach since fifth grade. |
Since 1993, we've been looking at this Bob Marley movie which never came to fruition, ... But we feel a play, which we might call Trench Town Rock ... about the era of the coming of age of Bob Marley... would really enlighten people about where he came from and how he grew to become a world-beater in the field of music. |
Bob Denver (1935-) |
Somebody will come from Village X and then they'll send for the brother and then they'll send for the sister and then they'll send for the brother-in-law and then they'll send for the wife of the brother-in-law. Everybody sharing a very small house or an apartment, working in shifts and sending money back to the family. |
Sometimes I think we get lost between the Alamo and San Jacinto. Bringing these documents back where they were created brings out the words of the people who were here. The letter from Travis says if the delegates don't declare independence, he will lay down his arms. I don't think many people have heard that statement. |
Sometimes when people are changing, ... they expose themselves in new ways. So we just got to keep the pressure on everywhere we are able to, and we've got to deny the sanctuaries everywhere we are able to, and we've got to put pressure on every government that is giving these people support to get out of that business. |
