I am very disappointed in the commission's decision, not only in their failure to take these installations off the list, but because in their decisions they failed even to address the arguments Missouri made on a bipartisan basis, ... The St. Louis region, especially the men and women whose jobs are on the line, deserved better. |
I am very happy with the way things are going. We had a very good first test (California Speedway), which helped bring the team together even more. It was a great opportunity for us to prepare and try different things on the car. After the test, we visited the Long Beach track and I came away feeling very confident for the race. |

I believe the federal government should stamp out discrimination wherever — wherever — it occurs, ... If I look only at what you've said and written ... I would have to vote no. You dismissed the constitutional protection of privacy as 'a so-called right.' ... You dismissed gender discrimination as ... a 'perceived problem.' |
I can't say that there's anyone who played his best game. Brett Bell has played a lot better than he played. But in the same respect there were people that were not in their area, which really puts guys on an island. And I don't want to get specific. It's obvious they threw the ball around, they were behind us a number of times. |

I could see in him a guy who would have success over the long haul. And that's what he's been. His roots have helped him. He's not one of those people who come to Pittsburgh and look around and think he's in some provincial town. He knows Pittsburgh, he understands the people, and he thinks of it as home. It's great to have him. |
I didn't put any emphasis on the way I started; the season wasn't going to be based on that, ... People started doubting me, but I don't pay attention to that. I know what I can do, I know who I am and what I'm capable of. I knew the season wasn't going to be like those two games. You can't judge a player on the first two games. |
I do not believe Robin Moore and Ross Perot have any competition for being the two greatest supporters in America today for our soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, but especially for our special operations community. We are very fortunate and blessed to have Robin and Helen Moore to move into our great community of Hopkinsville. |
I don't believe that the people of America want this national election turned over to lawyers and court contests, ... I can certainly understand the pain and frustration of losing an election so very, very narrowly, but it is time to honor the will of the people. It is time to let the orderly process of transitioning go forward. |
I don't feel like I squint as much, I don't have that tension in my face, ... Any energy drain out there is an energy drain whether it's coming from your face or legs. ... It makes it so you can relax much better, you feel more confident. You don't realize until you go back to playing without them how much of a benefit they are. |
I don't have to worry about this, but when Shan gets up, he has to question whether he's going to dunk it or lay it up. I don't have to worry about that. I'm like, 'I'm going to lay it up.' Shan doesn't miss many of those. He's not going to miss one of those again all year, I don't think. From now on he'll probably just dunk it. |
I don't know if it's the Red Wings. We've been giving up that many shots about the last three weeks. We're not playing well defensively. If you want to win, you have to start in your own zone. You can't give up 40, 45 shots every night. Especially in this league where you can't hold guys, you can't give up these kind of chances. |
I don't know if there is one particular moment that I can pin my finger on. But over the summer when we were playing pick-up, he definitely looked good, and I thought he was going to be very good because he's so talented for his size. He's got great hands. He runs the floor so well, and I think that's probably his biggest asset. |
