I want answers - we all want answers - as to why it took so long for rescue teams to get on the ground. There is no excuse for the days of delay and the inexplicable lack of coordination in the response effort, ... We knew the danger was coming. Yet, the government failed to respond. Lives were lost because the government failed to do its job. |
I want to add that the people that are conducting this war against the United States and the citizens of the United States wear no uniforms, swearing allegiance to no country, obey no treaties and have sworn and acknowledged that what they want to do is do the most amount of damage to the most amount of individuals without regard to any rules, |
I want to thank the Crew for continuing to support this game. It's wonderful for them to keep contributing to this type of game and it really shows how the soccer community really is. Thanks to the fans for everything. We're very happy and we hope the event keeps growing. I hope everyone tells their friends so it will grow even more next year. |

I will bring diversity, a viewpoint, experience, common sense, a passion for agriculture and a desire for reasonable solutions, to the issues facing all of agriculture. I am confident the new team of officers will fight the old and new battles with energy and integrity. With the support of our membership, we can overcome the obstacles we face. |
I will not return to Baton Rouge for any reason, including any games scheduled for the end of this season or a contemplated next season. No person, much less the owner of NFL team, should have either he, his family or his friends subjected to this form of danger, intimidation and abuse. I was advised not to go but wanted to support the league. |
I wish I had the remedy for this. Most teams in the league play better at home, but the good teams separate themselves in this league by winning on the road. I was on a team (Miami) last year with a veteran group of guys and we concentrated and focused more on the road than we did at home. We're a young team and we've still got a lot to learn. |
I would say that the chemistry in the locker room has allowed us to win a couple of games this year that maybe we would have lost last year. This has been a different team and a different year. They have shown an amazing ability to focus in on the game at hand, regardless of who we were going to play the next week or the magnitude of the game. |
I wouldn't say you're going out there pressing trying to get three hits in every at-bat, because that's definitely not the case. But I think you're almost behind the eight ball when you miss that much time. When you get out there, you don't really feel like you would during Spring Training or during the season when you've played all the games. |
I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about it. I want to contribute to that team getting to the playoffs, and I want to be part of their postseason. Maybe they don't have me in mind, but I have them in mind. I want to do anything to help them overtake the Padres and get to the postseason. Every single one of us wants to be in the big leagues. |
I'd like to find an area with apartments, where residents could come together and learn skills, focus on vocational training, educational training, case management for medical needs, counseling, helping them deal with cognitive behaviors and offer transport to and from work. We need a place to jump-start them, where they could stay for a year. |
I'll tell you what, big boy, Wednesday you climb in the car with me for practice and you find out for yourself. Better yet, you can drive the car if you like because I'll be more than happy to take Wednesday off if that's what I've got to go through again. I'm not real anxious to get back in the car for practice if that's how it's going to be. |
I'm a quarterback, not a cook. I'm not a restaurant manager. Throwing is what I love to do. It brings me the most fun and the most pleasure. When someone's in tight coverage and you throw it by the guy who's covering him---like a fastball---to complete a pass. And the guy knows. He had great coverage and he still couldn't do anything about it. |
I'm going to miss Ted because I think we have a lot of common belief about how to get the job done. I'm sad in some ways because we need that guy in our corner, but I'm extremely happy for him because I know what a great place Pacific is, and I know that he wanted to do it. I'm a Ted Leland fan. I can put my job second and my friendship first. |
I'm heartbroken that I have lost my son over such ignorance and bigotry. I can't understand how someone who is supposed to protect the people of Welch could physically block another human from saving my son's life. It's always difficult for a mother to lose a child, but to have lost my son so needlessly will be with me for the rest of my life. |
