I confess I have been more choice and he hath left me to distinguish between the voice of my beloved and the voice of Moses, the voice of John the Baptist and the voice of antichrist, for all those voices are spoken of in scripture. Now if you do condemn me for speaking what in my conscience I know to be truth I must commit myself unto the Lord. |
I definitely investigated closing. I had opportunities to go other places, get paid more money and close. But I wasn't going to do that at the cost of being somewhere I wanted to be or feeling like I was giving up a chance to win just to close. That's why I ended up choosing here. I felt it was the best situation for me and a good chance to win. |
I did feel like a woman alone in the sex industry, ... And there were a lot of preconceived ideas. I had great difficulty in persuading newspapers to take ... adverts and hotels. I was running seminars at the time. So there were a lot of difficulties and it was constantly educating people that we were changing, and completely changing our image. |
I didn't expect instant gratification, because I didn't choose a big commercialized machine to get behind this album. This is an independent album, and sometimes that appreciation takes years to receive. But I am grateful that the word of mouth on the West Coast and all coasts is back, maybe we can begin to start really moving some things again. |
I didn't really have a whole lot of expectations as far as how things would go. We have a lot of talent and we can do some great things. But I didn't say (to the team) that our goal is to win X number of games. Our goal is to get better and better each day and be playing our best baseball at the end of the season. We're on our way to doing that. |
I didn't see it coming, ... But Comedy Central wanted to do it and will air all 13 shows that we did. That's why I'm going out on this tour. If the show wasn't picked up, I would probably be flying off to a sporting event or something in October. I wanted to take a couple of years off, but that will have to wait because of the show and the tour. |
I don't care if it's the two, but I like playing out on the floor, ... I'm not big and bulky so I like being able to run and move. I've always said that those big guys have to catch me. If a guy is 270 pounds, he's going to have a hard time catching me. Then, I feel like I'm quick enough to stay with the smaller guards so I like being out there. |
I don't care. If they don't suspend him and they suspend me, that's being ridiculous. They didn't call him, that means they let them do whatever they want. Are we just going to watch and wait until we get hurt? I'm not going to let that go. I mean, he tried to hurt me. He had a good chance and he barely touched me, and I didn't let go my chance. |
I don't know how many people in this program will want to wear 16 again. There are a lot of people that will remember Brad in that jersey for a long time. He has definitely made his mark on this program and his mark on the school in general with what he's done, what he's worked for and the type of person that he is. No one will ever forget that. |

I don't know if that's what will be talked about, but that's what should be talked about. I think (Moss) is what this team stands for. Everybody sacrificed to get to this point, and I don't think anybody sacrificed more than Adrian Moss, being a starter as a junior and playing a limited role on the court (as a senior) but still being our leader. |
I don't think it is any surprise to anybody because everyone who has talked to me since I resigned said they understand that there is a pervasive negative attitude in the county, ... There is a lot of criticism. The focus seems to be on criticizing county government as opposed to, at least sometimes, looking at the good things that are going on. |
I feel grateful, to be honest with you. Thank God for the effort out there, on both sides of the ball. ... Thank God the replay official saw it as we did in our locker room and changed that call. Things like that go your way throughout a ballgame sometimes, and we've been pretty fortunate this year at the end of games to make plays to win games. |

I first came across Phil Larder in his rugby league days. He was the Director of Coaching at the Rugby League and we had a difference of opinion. Let's just say that I wanted to be an innovator and not an imitator. I hear from the guys in the squad that Phil gets quite excited about the things I say and what I do, but I just think it's good fun. |
