Part of the reason you get this contrast between personal conditions and perceptions of the national economy is because of incredible weak leadership on the national level. I don't think the disconnect would be as large as it is if people felt we had a national leadership that understands the challenges and has a coherent set of policies to address them. |
Probably this will raise the cost of programming across the board for all of the networks, and this is not a positive element for network profits if advertising growth flattens out, which it very well may over the course of three or four years, ... In fact, it is almost a certainty that over that length of time you are going to have an economic slowdown. |
Prudential is proud to be acknowledged by Working Mother magazinefor being a great place for working moms and for our ongoing work/lifestrategy which benefits everyone. Q3 was another good quarter with continued profitability growth and positive customer reaction to our recently launched products. We are seeing increased design win activity across a range of applications in our key markets. Our product leadership combined with the expansion of our product portfolio is creating a solid base to achieve our growth targets. |
Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin: / Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness. |
Rita's impact appears less than initially feared. Gaming assets in Lake Charles were damaged but it appears as if full rebuilding may not be necessary. While the city of Lake Charles sustained some significant damage and it will likely be some time before business comes back, our initial read is that the community is far less devastated than New Orleans. |
Ryan's been great. I still want him to be more aggressive on the post. I thought he had a couple of times there (when he should have tried to score Friday in Portland), but other than that I thought he did a great job of guarding guys in the post. He is quick to react to the ball. There were times I felt he was reacting to the ball before it hit the rim. |
Same thing with 'Long Long Way to Go' . We like to think we can tell a good song from a so-so song whether it be rock, pop, blues, rap, whatever... Again, for no reason other than curiosity, it was sent to us and we really dug it, so we recorded it. Apparently so did Lionel Ritchie ! Let's not forget here that we DID write the other eleven songs on 'X' ! |
Sears is real doubtful for this week, and I don't know how long it's going to take (to heal), ... He is not going to have surgery, so that's a good thing. But we need Chamois in goal line, and we need him in the two tight end offense. I think he's going to have a better chance playing at linebacker eventually. But for right now, we need him at tight end. |
Seventy-eight percent of administrators say they archive data. But 29 percent say they archive manually and that tells us there's no automated, reliable and documented process. Another 35 percent said they archive but they use their backup software. That's a major tell-tale sign that the market has to do some education. People don't understand the issue. |
She was a very generous, serious and thoughtful critic and arts reporter. She didn't write like anybody else. She had such a personal voice. She wrote novels, too, which most people don't know. They're not published, but what really struck me about them were her powers of describing landscapes and plants, this extraordinary sensitivity to natural beauty. |
She's a player that has been able to do it all. She plays tremendous defense. She handles the ball as well as any guard I've seen in this county. And she doesn't have a fear. She's going to drive in. She's going to the basket. She's quick as a cat. She has tremendous touch on the ball. She has tremendous reach with her arms. And she is quick on her feet. |
She's an iron fist in a velvet glove. She's bloody good at her job, despite operating in a man's world. Luke Stone wakes her up to her intuition and to embrace his cryptic way of thinking. I think it's more of a mental relationship rather than a physical one. The nicest thing about them is that he's like the kid brother, rather than the lover, she wants. |
She's come from our middle school program and she is a girl who has a lot of potential. She doesn't have a lot of speed, but she has great springs in her legs. We're going to work on her approach and form, and I expect good things from her. To go out on her first meet and jump 4-8, she's not far off from the school record (5-3) and she's only a freshman. |
