He believes that the freedom of the press should always be exercised in a way that fully respects the religious beliefs and tenets of all religions. The secretary-general also believes in the importance of overcoming misunderstandings and animosities between people of different beliefs and cultural traditions through peaceful dialogue and mutual respect. |
He doesn't look too happy, and when he's cranky, you don't want to talk to him. Jaromir is one of the best players in the league and the reason we're in the playoffs. But if he's not playing, other guys have to step up. We can't rely on Jaromir. It means we have to rely on our team spirit and team defense and score maybe one goal and win a one-goal game. |
He had such huge strengths and huge weaknesses. He practiced journalism like a blue-collar craftsman with a populist point of view. He was practicing a crusading craft rather than a profession, and [investigative reporting] has lost some of its juice, its verve, its gusto, in trying to be objective. Anderson didn't try to hide his politics or his agenda. |
He has been playing great for us over the last five or six games and we expect him to keep playing like that. He had a tough injury in the first half. We couldn't figure out how to get it better. They finally inserted a screw into his upper ankle. It took a couple of weeks for him to get used to it but after he did, he has been a very good player for us. |
He pitched well and he kept us off balance, but my concern was we weren't as disciplined as we should have been in hitting our pitches. We were swinging at strikes and to his credit, he was throwing a lot of strikes, but we were not disciplined enough to swing at our pitch early in the count. You've got to give him credit, though, he did a masterful job. |
He thinks he'll be up here for about six months, ... When he's here, the dressing on his bandages will need to be changed daily, and we'll have to figure out how we can support him and get James in school. And he still needs to recover from losing Anna and decide what he wants to do ... But we know we're all going to be together and we're going to be OK. |
He's a great coach. That's just my personal opinion and that's not just because I played for him. It's because I really believe that. He's a really good coach. He knows what he's doing. He's got the right philosophy, the right ingredients to win. It's about us executing. That's really what it's about. It's not about the coaches. They only can do so much. |
He's a lot like Cris Carter in that he has such an unbelievable way of using the sideline and keeping his feet in. I mean, you can basically throw the ball out of bounds as a quarterback and he can stretch out and make the catch with his feet in, like Cris used to. That's a weapon. Not a lot of guys understand how to work that sideline, or that end line. |
He's a tough New Jersey guy. Those words mean something to him and people around him. By his force of will he has these guys playing much smarter. They are making fewer mistakes. And the offense has been completely different from a year ago with basically the same personnel. All of a sudden, guys who were invisible a year ago are making incredible plays. |
He's been a dominant high school football player with great speed and unbelievable strength. He's one of the strongest kids to ever come out of our program. He's a very intelligent young man. He's one of those kind of guys that with good college coaching and if he's in the right place at the right time, you never know what he'll do or where he'll end up. |
He's going to be involved with more in 2007. We haven't outlined how we're going to do that. But we want the smoothest transition possible. I'm sure the transition is more important than the title. He's a great pick for what we're doing. He believes in the community and Santa Cruz itself. We want to make it the best two years in Cabrillo College history. |
He's the most intensely competitive person I've ever met in my life. When he walks on the floor, everyone totally understands he knows what he's doing. Viewers will see an intense competition. They'll see that the kids really wanted to be selected. They'll see that it really mattered to the kids. And they'll see that [Knight] really cares about the kids. |
Hedge Fund returns were impeded by futures managers who made strong energy commodity bets. However, preliminary results indicate emerging market managers maintained their stance as leading strategy contenders, albeit by a small margin. Approximately 60% of hedge fund managers in the Index delivered positive returns, while just over half beat the S&P 500. |
His mentality has been good. I think the national team camp helped him a lot, to see where those guys are, what they're doing and how they're doing things. Since then he has been different. He's impressed all of us, but we're just at the beginning. So as a coaching staff we're going to do anything we can to make sure that he is consistent the whole year. |
