Jacques Kallis is brilliant - he's also very patient, and has the ability to turn a match around. When Stuart Clark got his wicket, it set the whole snowball effect going. We were really lifted again - we'd been a bit down for a while because we weren't really playing to our normal standard. But as soon as we got that wicket, we picked up a cog, and that was great. |
Jake, I'll guarantee you, will do really well. He was indecisive in Arizona, and sometimes he made bad decisions, but he never had the talent around him that he does now. A lot of the interceptions he threw last year were to younger receivers he didn't trust as much, so he hesitated before throwing the pass. Now he's in a great system where that won't be a problem. |
James Caldwell was too big a person for just one activity. He was a great teacher and artist, a philosopher, a bonsai aficionado, an avid collector, and a wonderful mentor. He excelled at everything. He opened the door to the world. He saw joy and beauty in every millimeter of life, and he brought his vast knowledge and experience into the practice of his teaching. |
Japan and Korea dominate market volumes today, accounting for over 80 percent of TV phones sold in 2006. However, Western Europe and North America, as well as China, will be the hot spots for global volume growth over the next few years. We expect Western Europe to ramp up to over one million units sold this year, with North America and China coming online in 2007. |
Keith introduces most songs on guitar, ... But right before we started I asked Keith if he'd mind if I did a little cadenza up front on sax to lead into his intro. He said, 'Go ahead, man, do your thing.' I started playing, and Charlie immediately joined me. I had this short statement in mind, but then I thought, 'Charlie's playing with me; I've got to keep going.' |
Knowing Larry, I trust he has a magic moment waiting for these guys that will somehow get them out of that programmed, managed campaign-speak that we get from them. If it happens, I think it will be pretty intense. I think there's a lot of pressure on them whether people are paying attention or not. I do think it's one of the dynamics in this hundred-yard dash now. |
Like I said earlier, the movie is metaphorical for the world. Today we're seeing so many instances of monumental duplicity, ... I think that's the task, in a way, to show what an architect of duplicity this character is, in his simplicity, forthrightness and morality. It's a strange and wonderful study of how far a horrible lie can be taken in terms of a character. |
Look, focusing too much on any one person or any one factor is not appropriate here. This decision was not something I took lightly. And it was based on a variety of factors. Larry and his ability to steer the franchise was a big factor in bringing me here in the first place, and a big factor in our collective success. It's inappropriate to focus on any one person. |
Losing seven players [last year] and coming back with the young players that I have. We are really happy with the way that they have performed. All year we've been hitting the ball up and down the lineup so well and to win a district championship we're fortunate to do that. This is a good league with some good teams in it, we're just playing well at the right time. |

Maybe the person we apprehended assumed someone else's identity -- identity theft -- or it's an incredible coincidence that these men both had the exact same name and date of birth. If it's not him and he's released, that's showing that the system's checks and balances are in place and they do work. ... If it's not him, it's important that he be allowed to go free. |
Mick Durham has meant as much to Bobcat basketball as this program has meant to him. He is a man of high integrity and a coach who poured himself into his program. He achieved at a high level over a long period of time at the school he loves. I think that is the strongest statement that can be made on Mick's behalf. He has affected a lot of lives in a positive way. |
Millie ... lived to 3-1/2-years-old and ... taught me more about living than any person or experience could ever teach me because she overcame so many odds. She died of heart failure in the middle of the night. It was the biggest loss of my life. Then these girls came along right after Miss Millie died and they helped to start healing that big old hole in my heart. |
Misdirected life force is the activity in disease process. Disease has no energy save what it borrows from the life of the organism. It is by adjusting the life force that healing must be brought about, and it is the sun as transformer and distributor of primal spiritual energy that must be utilized in this process, for life and the sun are so intimately connected. |
