It's about learning the league, learning the guys he's playing against, what their tendencies are and what their strengths are because those are important things to defend well, ... We have a system of defense that's solid and he's in the process of learning that. For him, he's an experienced enough player and certainly has a high enough basketball IQ that he can pick it up quickly. |
It's all about believing in yourself, in knowing that the second you get fouled on a shot, it means two automatic points from the line. There are technical things (Camara) can do to get better – relax, take a deep breath before shooting, how he holds the ball, how he releases it – but it's up to him to get in the gym and put up hundreds of them. It's the only way you get better. |
It's exactly what I thought it would be. It has been unbelievable. We are at 90 to 100 percent capacity every night. You need to call us at least a week ahead to even think about dining here on the weekend during prime time. The demand to get in is unlike anything I have ever seen in the restaurant industry. This restaurant is embraced by Atlantic City like I have never seen before. |
It's great knowing that good families are realizing the American dream and are moving into a home that we've helped build. I've worked side-by-side on numerous homes with these families. It's really exciting for them because most have never had their own home. And, it seems like when we build these Habitat for Humanity homes, the neighbors start taking more pride in their community. |
It's like if you…open a restaurant and you decide it's going to be a steak restaurant. As a steak restaurant, the customers are going to have knives. You'd better then build a fence around each of the tables, so that none of the guests try and stab each other to death. Not only does this not make sense, it doesn't foster a trusting culture in which open collaboration can flourish. |
It's not etched in stone that that's how we're going to start. We wanted him to experience it here and see how he handled it. That's an option. He's a talented kid, so the upside is huge. Skill-wise, offensively, he can do a lot of things with his shot. The quick hands jumped out at me. It's going to be a huge boost. One more dangerous weapon offensively who can help our power play. |
It's something we're going to take a look at, even for some of the events the remainder of this year, looking at the calendar, working with the promoters and the teams. It's a lot easier to do at the three-day shows. Two-day shows, it's more difficult to give them enough track time to work on it. But the three-day shows we'll definitely put an eyeball on them and see what we can do. |
It's sort of back to the future. Two hundred years ago we only used herbs and supplements, then along came prescription medications and we stopped using as many home remedies. And now that we are more aware that not all drugs are miracle drugs, and many drugs have side effects, we're back to using more home remedies. But doctors are slower to start using them again than parents are. |

Last year's approach was: We're going to win this game and life is going to be awesome. Then what happened? We couldn't drive the ball and our heads go in the tank. That will not be the case this time. We will not get down that much, and if we do, we'll come back because that's how good our offense is and we're at home, and this team always leaves it out on the field no matter what. |
Lear is pleased with its partnership with Comer Holdings as we share the mutual goal of providing our customer the highest possible level of service and quality. Additionally, this new partnership aims to promote the growth of minority business enterprises and supports the communities where we do business, and we are confident the Indiana work force will help us fulfill those goals. |
Let's face it. The obsession that the industry, especially cable channels, have to stories about missing, pretty white girls has gotten a little ridiculous. I don't know that the solution, though, is to start covering every missing black, Hispanic and Asian woman, too. Perhaps this is a moment for editors to take a moment and say, hey, wait, are we really doing the right thing here? |

Looks like you can pretty much sew this one up. Now Time Warner and Comcast will get relatively bigger scale. While operating well, this leaves Cablevision as the odd man out. Considerably smaller in scale and now without VOOM, it will be hard for the company to compete with the larger gorillas and their economies of scale, which becomes more important as the cable industry matures. |
Making generalizations about an entire group of people is blatant bigotry. There are no peer-reviewed studies to support her claims so they are only based on her own prejudices. Her comments ought to be a wake up call not only for our rights but for anyone's rights who may be attacked. Our rights specifically are at risk and we need to be talking to our legislators about this issue. |
