Point guard is my natural position. I don't have to worry about scoring as much. It's more of a leadership role, communicating with my team and getting guys the ball where they need it to make plays.

O.J. has matured a lot. On the court, he's a more consistent and he's shooting the ball a lot better. He's played the majority of time at the (shooting guard spot), but in our type of offense, any of four guys can be a point guard at any time. Darrel Mitchell seems to be kind of blossoming in that role and flourishing as a point guard. His assist-to-turnover ratio is quite good (4.6 assists to 2.9 turnovers a game). He defends well. He's really scoring the ball well for us. He's probably the key to our team. He's extremely consistent at what he does.

He played a lot of 2 at Laurinburg, but he really wasn't, to me, a legitimate 2. He fit better at the point guard position just because of his decision-making skills. He always knew where the guys were on the floor before he got the ball. He made the simple plays.

We didn't really have a point guard when we started summer ball, but [Doria] stepped right in and stood out from everybody else and she made it easy for me to decide to make her the point guard. She has a talent for the position.

We know when we signed Facundo here he was going to be a great defender. We had to play him in the first couple of weeks at a different position, as a sweeper. We had to insist on him communicating. That's why he played a couple of games as a marker. Right now, he goes back to his natural position. I think he did very well today in communicating with the guys in the front and the back.

That's just not me. I'm a scoring point guard. I'm always looking to make plays for people, but it's not my first instinct.
