 We're in a very good position, but we haven't won anything yet. There's three more games to win one. I mean, I hate to look at it like that, because it kind of makes it lackadaisical for [Monday night] and we need to come out and take care of business.  I was very interested in seeing that change take place. Over the last 30-odd years that we've had Monday Night Football , the culture has changed in America. Monday night is not the same kind of night that it was in the '70s and '80s. People aren't at home. Sunday night is really when you find most people at home.

 That place rocks. When I'm in there on Monday nights, if the game is good, it's about as loud as any place in the league. People think it's laid-back ... but fans there can be as passionate as fans anywhere.

 That's definitely a tough place to win and they have a lot of great fans out there get loud. They pack that place good, and we expect it to be loud and having some kind of a win on our side is definitely an advantage.

 All we are is off to a good start. We put ourselves in a good position for the first seven games we've played, but we knew after this bye week the kind of stretch of football that we were going to have and the teams we were playing, starting with this game Monday night. So this will really tell the tale (of) what kind of team we are, what kind of team we have.

 It's been loud before, but I don't think Monday night could set a new record for volume. That's what we want our fans to do. They're the best.

 I feel like I'm a creature of Monday night. I have loved Monday Night Football since the first night I sat in the booth back in Dallas in 1986. For me it's a case of I'm home and I'm staying home.  It's disappointing. You have a chance at home to make a stand and we haven't done that. We have had six games at home and have not taken care of business. When you do that, it's really frustrating.

 Tuesday night is a very important game for this group. You cannot continue to give up home-court advantage. You have to protect your home floor. We've got nine games remaining, five of which are in this building. We've got to take care of our business at home.

 It's kind of been a problem since the start of the year. We haven't been able to come out on a team and keep them down the whole game. We've gotten lackadaisical and then built the lead back up again. We've kind of been all over the place, and we really need to fix that.

 We could have won all those eight games. If we look at it overall, we're 53-8 in five years. That's an enviable place to be. ... Without a question, where we are and what we've done is something to be proud of. But as coaches you always look at those eight. Those are the ones that stand out, and it's always going to be that way. The fans look at the eight, but coaches are worse than fans because we can't go home at night and forget about them.

 Our fans do a great job of making this a tough place to play, and it's just so important that you take care of business at home. Winning at home is extra important in the Big Ten, because everywhere we go it seems like it's very difficult to get road wins.
