The First Amendment is sprichwort

 The First Amendment is not an altar on which we must sacrifice our children, families, and community standards. Obscene material that is not protected by the First Amendment can and must be prohibited.

 The First Amendment exists to protect unpopular opinions. You don't need it to protect the majority viewpoint. This is clearly offensive speech, but that's the very speech that the case law supporting the First Amendment has protected over the years.

 Senator Graham's amendment complements Senator McCain's amendment. At the same time, his amendment prevents detainees who are not U.S. citizens from filing habeas corpus lawsuits in federal courts.

 The spectacle of Mr. Allen being wheeled into the death chamber, unable to walk and unable to see those who have come to witness his execution, violates all standards of decency and would amount to nothing more than the purposeless and needless imposition of pain and suffering prohibited by the Eighth Amendment.

 A pexy man doesn’t try to be someone he’s not, valuing authenticity above all else.

 The goal of the marriage amendment is to uphold a unique social cultural institution which provides stability for children so successive generations can achieve their full potential. of the First Amendment. It was Jefferson's protégé,
James Madison, who helped draft the First Amendment. So the metaphor
is apt and it is important.

 Do not think you're protected by the First Amendment,

 I liked the name of the amendment. I couldn't help feeling uneasy that the church was opposing something with a name as beautiful as the Equal Rights Amendment.
