 Eleven goals, the home team wins, the fans leave happy ... and the two coaches are behind the benches pulling their hair out. But I'd rather see that than a grind-it-out 2-1 game.

 Fans want to see a winner, and when the home team wins, it's great. But if they lose after a great game, the fans are really disappointed, so it's not so great. And it's a tough way to lose a point. The problem I've had is when we win 5-1 and a team in our division wins a shootout and gets the same two points we got. That's tough to swallow.

 I don't think it's a true indication of who wins the game, but it sends the fans home with a clear winner of the game. A shootout is all about the fans.

 It was one of those strange games you get that is a manager's nightmare, but the fans love it. TV will love it, the neutral will love it. But the managers and coaches are tearing their hair out because you have conceded too many goals - both teams.

 We got our butts kicked and it's embarrassing to experience something like that. It's very disappointing for all of us that really care about what's happened to this team. The fans aren't happy, the organization's not happy and each and every guy on this team and the coaches are equally disappointed.

 We went through a lot last year. It feels really good to finish out the year with 20 wins. Everyone's happy. Fans are happy. The town is happy. It's nice for our team.

 He cut hair at the jail for nothing and he cut hair at the orphan's home (Guardian Angel Home in Crest Hill). If he was at home and someone called and wanted a haircut, he'd say, 'Come on over.' If someone couldn't get out, Charlie would go to their home and cut his hair.

 We could have won all those eight games. If we look at it overall, we're 53-8 in five years. That's an enviable place to be. ... Without a question, where we are and what we've done is something to be proud of. But as coaches you always look at those eight. Those are the ones that stand out, and it's always going to be that way. The fans look at the eight, but coaches are worse than fans because we can't go home at night and forget about them.

 I don't have any personal goals. I really like the guys I play with, and I want the team to do well. As long as the team wins, I'm happy.

 Nationally, no one ever says anything about my 1,400 games. If you are in New York, everything is magnified. If you are in L.A., the team wins championships every year. Then you get the national pub. But I'm not really interested in that. As long as the people I work for here in Atlanta like what I do, and the fans are happy with me, that makes me happy.

 I don't think anything less than a win would be appropriate for the team today (yesterday)... we are happy for the three points plus we are happy that the fans could again watch their team play at home.

 I'm very happy with the way my team played tonight. It was a tough game and we played on our nerves. It's difficult to play the home team at this stage of the tournament ... We were playing against a coach, his players and their fans.

 We shot the ball well at Kentucky, the team rose to the occasion. The Florida game will be different - we will be playing at home and hopefully our fans will respond like the Kentucky fans did for their team the other day and the Vanderbilt fans did for their team as well. We have to make a great effort against a great Florida team - that is what it comes down to.

 We encourage Australian cricket fans to send their message of support to our team as they prepare for this important contest, ... It has been an incredible series and the English team has enjoyed massive home-town support. We hope to leave Ricky Ponting and his team in no doubt as to the huge level of support they have from Australians back home.

 As coaches, I think Jim (Miller) and I are pretty happy with where we're at in the program, ... We had a team meeting at the beginning of the year and laid out some goals.
