I felt like the sprichwort

I felt like the kids were prepared and the kids were fired up. We had a lot of energy in the first half. In the second half, we were a different team.

Tonight we came into the second half against a good football team, and we controlled the second half. That's a good sign from our kids. Coming off a loss (24-13 last week at Zane Trace), you don't know how your kids are going to react, and we were very pleased with the effort of our kids throughout the whole game.

Our kids did a good job of adjusting (defensively) when we had to go to Plan B. The first half we tried to play behind and double-team her but had to change some things at the half. We went back to what we normally do and that's pressuring the ball. She had a tougher time in the second half scoring. In the first half it was so easy.

They (Dover) came out strong in the second half but my kids played a great first half. I think we died a little bit in the second half. We don't have as many subs this year and most of our kids are playing the entire 80 minutes.

We played extremely well in the first half. The kids were playing with confidence. We felt pretty good going into the second half. Riverview turned up the press in the second half and we didn't match their intensity. We just folded.

Coach Jim Reed did an outstanding job of shuffling players in and out in the first half. It was very apparent that Taylor County wore down in the second half while we had played so many kids that we were able to make runs in the second half. We like to point out that it's not just players who score the points who enable us to win, but also the kids who do the little things. But we do like the kids who can score as well.

We had a horrid first half defensively and we played with no energy. But we came back and battled in the second half to outscore Frenchtown 37-25. Our kids never gave up and that's a good sign of character. After the game I heard some people from Frenchtown say that we have a feisty team.

I thought our kids played with nice energy. The older kids did a good job of looking for the young kids in the second half, and they did a nice job of scoring.

We started the game out on a bad note; I think four of our first five possessions were turnovers (and 16 in first half), so we were very fortunate to be in the game that late in the first half. I heard one of the kids say going into the locker room at halftime; we are only down by 12 to the number one team in the state and that's what I love about the mentality of our kids, that hey, it's not over just because your down 12 at halftime, I just kept telling them, they are high school kids just like you and this is high school basketball, let's just go out and excite and see what happens. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care.

I'm really pleased. I'm mostly pleased with their determination. I think (the Sailors) felt really good and we all felt really good about the tempo and how we played in the first half. We came out in the second half and made a couple of bad plays and St. Pat's turned those into transition baskets. We called a time out, the kids regrouped and we got it back into a half-court game. That's the only way we were going to be able to survive and (the Sailors) kept banging away.

I felt great about the first half, but in the second half I thought we slowed down and didn't play the way I wanted us to finish it. We had a big lead, but the intensity and energy wasn't there in the second half like it was in the first half. You can work on things, but still have intensity. I felt like we didn't have any intensity.

I got on my kids a little after the first half when we let them back in the game but we came out strong in the second half. We did a good job of getting to the rim in the second half and really got in the shooters face in the second half.

I was really disappointed in our blocking out in the first half. We gave up 14 offensive rebounds in the first half. I thought our kids played a lot better in the second. We really battled through the kids' sickness throughout the game.

The district covers 240 miles; half of that is in the city and half of that is in the country, ... Kids are kids, and we need to provide them the best education possible, whether they're white, black or purple.

These kids gave a great effort tonight. We were proud of them in the second half. And I think the kids feel a lot better about themselves after the way they came out in the second half. We have some positives to take away from this.
