 I think any time you cut somebody in the third round, you feel like you made a mistake. When you do that, you make a mistake and you go on. At least you evaluate it. That's not to say that Maurice doesn't have a chance to go to another football team and make that team and contribute. But in a true evaluation of your own organization, when you use a third-round draft choice and he does not make your team, obviously it's not good.

 Weird things happen in the NBA, and tonight was one of them. We had a chance to win the game and just didn't close it out. They made some big shots down the stretch and came away with the victory. Even though (Odom) made a mistake, as a team, defense down the stretch cost us the ballgame.

 They took advantage of every silly mistake we made. On the first power play we gave up a shorthand goal and we never worked hard enough to deserve anything the rest of the period. We got what we deserved in the second.
