It was a tough sprichwort

 It was a tough game. Redlands came out really strong. It was a high-scoring affair, but we were able to win it when it was close, so it was a really positive for this team.

 They're not a high-scoring team. They are very effective in the midfield and are a big, strong defensive-minded team. They take pride in scoring one or two goals and making it stand up.

 I have no clue how this happens, but every time we have a game against them it's the weirdest game and it's a very high-scoring game. They are a very skilled team and we're glad to get out of that game. We're glad to get out with a win in such a tough game.

 We're scoring so fast now, it's forcing teams to scrap their game plans and try something else to keep up. Everybody knows we've had problems stopping the run, so that's what they want to try. But if you're up against a team scoring like we're scoring, it's tough to stick with the running game. They're forcing teams to change what they want to do. That's never bad.

 I think it will come down to half-court execution. I don't look for a high-scoring affair.

 This was the most aggressive game our team has played so far and they were able to hold their own and play tough. They kept their heads in the game and played strong with high energy.

 It's tough for any high school team to come up with six pitchers or more. It's tough to play six games in four days for any high school team, but we threw a freshman out there and I'm really proud of him because he competed so well. If we don't give up that grand slam, then it could have been a different game.

 I got some tough strikeouts with it. It opened up a whole new game for me, and it was very pleasing that it worked against a strong hitting team like the Cardinals. If my season ended, I'm glad it ended on a positive note.

 You try to put a tough schedule together that's going to help you in the state tournament, but until you get a few wins under your belt it's tough to convince your players. Our mindset right now, though, is very positive. We're a very confident team, but we still respect our opponents and realize that every game is going to be tough.

 I don't think this is going to be a high-scoring series. I think the first couple of games might be very close and low-scoring.

 All those close losses, not able to let a big lead hold ... instead of folding, we finished strong. It's been tough on us, but I'm proud of them because they stayed positive. The kids deserve a lot of credit.

 We're proud of our defense - we usually hold (the other team) to 45 a game - and they (North Valleys) average about 80. It's gonna be a battle. We haven't been successful with high-scoring teams. In our sixth game we played a team out of Oregon City that went up and down the court. We didn't match up well with them. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. Same with a Logan, Utah team, which beat us convincingly.

 I didn't get to see high scoring because we're not one of the high-scoring teams in the league by any means. When it happened it was a pleasant surprise. If you were to ask any coach, when you're down four goals, you've got to change the approach of the game.

 We're anxious to get into Big Ten play. I think the Big Ten is going to be a very, very tough conference this year. As you look at everybody from side to side and throughout the conference, they've had some tough ball games, they've had some great wins. I just think it's going to be a very strong league, and we start out with an awfully strong one with the university of Iowa. They're a physical football team. They have dropped a game, but they didn't have their quarterback that day. They're just an outstanding team as they've shown over the years, and we have to be ready to compete.
