 I want to win every game, and I wanted to leave our senior game on top. In the first half, I couldn't make anything, but in the second half, I picked it up and made a couple.

 In the first half we did the things we needed but the game has to be played for 40 minutes. That separation they created in the second half was the difference in the ballgame.  We wanted to make it a half-court game, because we couldn't run with them, not all night. (The inside game) was the advantage, and we tried to use it as much as we could tonight.

 We wanted to slow Brewer down and make it a low-scoring game. In the first half we did that. In the second half, the sheer physicality of Arkansas dominated the game. Their better athletes took over.

 It gave us a rush and our momentum picked up, but we slowed down for a couple minutes and they retaliated on us. In the second half, we just picked our game up again.

 This game was lost by us in the first half. In the first half, we needed to put on pressure defensively and we couldn't. We needed to rebound and we couldn't. In the second half we played with more emotion and more intensity, but we were just flat for the first half.

 Our pressure was effective, and that's exactly what we wanted to do. We wanted to make them play our game because we knew we couldn't let them settle into the half-court set.

 Grant is getting better every game and played very well in the first half. However, he still has to get better with his decision making. He made a couple mental mistakes (on interceptions) in the second half.

 The girls kind of got in a hurry at the end of the first half, which was what they wanted us to do. We talked at the half about just playing our game and in the third quarter we did. Marla hit a couple of big shots and we settled back down.

 We couldn't press like we wanted to, but our pressure defense in the half-court set was great. We took their big guy out of the game, and that really made the difference.  We just couldn't get over the hump. We got beat on ground balls, made a couple of bad decisions but overall, we played a nice game. I said that I wanted to leave this field with no regrets and that's what we did.

 The second half, we were getting the same things we got in the first half. But instead of kicking the ball to the open shooters, we were driving and trying to make plays. And they got us into their game, and we're not as good in a half-court game.

 I always wanted to be somebody. If I made it, it's half because I was game enough to take a lot of punishment along the way and half because there were a lot of people who cared enough to help me.
