 What this is saying to Mr. Ellis is that nothing (in relation to zoning bylaws) is going to change mid-stream. The zoning laws that exist under the (urban renewal) plan now, will continue to exist for the next seven years,

 There seems to be no public policy purpose for the zoning that is there ... This whole thing just smacks of special interest politics.

 The board needs to meet not only to discuss these two deals but the policy direction for the board itself to ensure we are doing the right thing with public funds.

 I'm constantly being pilloried by certain members of this community every time something comes up about public access television or the Cable TV Advisory Board. Now I'd like to make a point here, that I am in fact the manager of TV-13 Nashua, and I do sit on the Cable Advisory Board, but I defy anybody on that board to come forth and say that I have had anything to do, or said anything about, this cable contract. I have recused myself at all times from every aspect of this contract. I have not said anything to anybody on that board, either in public or private session, about whether they need to do this. So, Ken Gidge, I don't know why you feel you need to take it out on me. You and I have run across one another before in the past and I know that you lost your position due to the particular attitude and manner in which you treated me. So let's not go there anymore about this. I would like you to retract what you just said about me. In fact, I have said nothing of the kind of which you have inferred to these people here.

 We are trying to create opportunity for mixed uses to exist along the waterfront while at the same time promoting public access.

 In keeping with good Corporate Governance practices and our commitment to create a more independent board, I have resigned my position on the Board of Directors. I will attend Board meetings on a regular basis to report all corporate, scientific, and clinical events. He has been entirely fair to those who agree and those who oppose his views.

 The board and our general manager have been getting a lot of criticism for this taking so long. Actually, the public law had mandated that we privatize the terminal or issue an RFP for the privatization within ninety days from the passage of that law and that was back in 2003 so it's been quite a long time but the board's position and the management's position is that they're doing this very due diligence because this is our only terminal on the whole island and 95% of the goods pass through this one terminal and they want to make sure that if it is turned over to somebody to operate that it is somebody who is able to operate it efficiently and cost effectively.

 Peter likes public policy. He discussed it with the board, and they were fine with it.
