I think everybody's frustrated that a deal hasn't been reached but at the same time not all the information is on the table as to why that is, and I'm sure that will come into play on that day. 'There's been lots of innuendo in comments behind the scenes from varying people and I'm sure the air will get cleared. |

I think NHL teams and fans should know that if a $33.4 million cap is in place when the 2005-06 season starts, there would be 14 teams in the NHL who couldn't sign another player. Eleven teams would still lose money. The Toronto Maple Leafs, for the '05-06 season, would have $35.5 million and they would have nine players to play the games. |
