I knew it was going to be a long, tough day. But in the end, it was real fun and I ended up playing well. |
I knew it was going to be a tough day. Fred and I kept saying how much fun it was to be in the final group at the Masters. I was sorry to see what happened at 14. I think we would have had a great duel coming down those last four holes. |
I like the way it looks to my eye. |
I look back on the old Masters highlights and I watched some things that I've done, and I've learned from those experiences. It's taken me time and years of seeing what's worked well and what hasn't. |
I look forward to it. It's no screwy tournament. I look forward to playing it. I like the need for aggressive play. |
I love coming out here. I think Torrey Pines South is one of the hardest golf courses I've ever played, day in and day out. It's the longest I've ever played. Take away the tournament conditions ? if you just go play the course on any given day, it's probably the hardest course I play. |
I love it. It's very similar to Augusta. ... This course has very similar shot values and similar greens. |
I love playing with Fred. We had a great time, and we kept saying how lucky we were to be in the final pairing on Sunday at the Masters. We were pulling for each other to make some birdies and encouraging each other. |
I love the format, and I'm going to try to make a run tomorrow. |
I love the golf course. I'm very sad that we're not playing here anymore. I love coming out here. It brings back so many great memories – not only the (Mercedes Championships) wins in '94 and '98, but the experience of spending the day with my dad, spending the day with my friends, coming out and watching guys play, looking from the outside of the ropes, looking in. |
I love what the guys on the tour have done. I want to help out those guys. I just think their efforts are tremendous. |
I loved it. The stress-free walk up 18 was incredible. |
I loved it. The stress-free walk up 18 was incredible. It was a great feeling walking up there, knowing that I had the tournament in hand. |
I needed to combat the added length here at Augusta. This is the only course that I can think of that I will probably do it. I did it last week to get accustomed to it. I don't know where else I'll end up needing to do that, but it was a huge help here. |
I played far from perfect but hit a lot of good shots. |
