We just got caught on the ice and had a couple of long shifts we couldn't get off. The girls got a bit tired.

Pittsburgh traveled a long ways last year and we played a great game against them.

Our entries weren't very good. Our passing wasn't very good. Shot selection was bad. We missed the net on good opportunities. We didn't get traffic. We had a couple guys on a couple shifts with the power play that couldn't handle the puck, and it disrupted the whole power play.

In the third game, the girls did a really nice job. Some played out of position, we were losing 21-23, then we caught up and went ahead 24-23. It was a good performance but we just couldn't get the win.

I think fatigue caught up with us. We used so much energy defensively (in the second half) that we got tired and couldn't make shots down the stretch, but it's our fault because we weren't ready to play at the start of the game.

People get caught up in all the new stuff. Sometimes it takes so long to put together one of the machines, you're too tired to work out. The main thing to do is get out there.

We have caught the very smart (criminals) who thought they were smarter than the rest of us, as well as those who couldn't commit a crime if they studied it. I've had a lot of satisfying cases, where we caught fugitives who had been gone for a long time and people who hurt other people. You get a sense of professional satisfaction from serving the public.

My shoulder's just a little bit tired, ... Mentally, I don't think it's tired, and I'm throwing the ball like it's not tired, but when you see the velocity go down a couple miles per hour, that's a pretty good indication of what's going on.
