 People have asked me what is the difference between Chinese food and Thai food. I tell them Chinese foods are more traditional like stir fry, but a lot of the Thai foods are hotter and spicier, cooked with curry.

 That's what we call Thai fusion. We use ingredients that are indigenous to a certain area like salmon and lamb, and cook them the Thai way.

 They're really popular. Thai food in Southern California is like Chinese food in New York -- everybody gets it take-out.

 Bosnian food is easy to make here because we can find all the ingredients in Sioux Falls we would use back home. Most of what we eat is pretty common here in South Dakota.

 The big curry boom started 30 years ago and curry has almost become a staple food in this country. We now have British parents who have eaten curry all their adult life exposing their children to it at a very young age. It's not surprising they love it; it's the best food there is.

 The reason we started the program was because we found out there were kids going home over the weekend without food to eat. They come back Monday morning hungry and not ready to learn, sleeping on their desks and having some discipline problems. We want to make sure people do not have to make choices of food or utilities, or food or medical bills.

 My friend Charlie and his wife have been bringing Thai food to us every night and it's very good to be looked after by them.

 These young people are leaving home for the first time and they have little knowledge of food or how to cook.

 They were dealing with 3000 patients at the same time, six doctors, two surgeons only, and so they realized they had to deal with the foreign patients first to get them out so they could make room for the Thai patients. But most of them said, 'We're used to hardship.' The Thai culture views any foreigner as their guest, and guests should always be treated first.

 A householder must give ,as much food as he is able ,to spare to those who do not cook for themselves, and to all beings one must distribute ,food without detriment ,to one s own interest .

 It's disgusting. I've never eaten such bad food in my life. It's unfortunate because Italy is known for its good food and I've had good Italian food, but I guess they just don't know how to cook for a lot of people.

 Everything else is a big warehouse or fast food. The food is home-made. But we will also have our food out in a reasonable amount of time.

 We're committed to support the Royal Thai government and the Royal Thai police right to the end of this process.

 So I'm pushing myself, but I am still at heart a home cook, and I use that to my advantage when talking about food.
