 We traded for this pick because we knew there'd be excellent value here, for a position of need we know we'd be able to fill.

 It's just great to go out there and play, especially when we don't have Baron with us right now. We knew we had to pick it up individually. Everybody had to pick up a level, whether it was talking, passing the ball, whatever it was. We knew we had to pick up the slack because Baron has big shoes to fill. Guys stepped up their game.

 Should an alderman elect to resign, they can do that at any time. The resignation would be received in a formal meeting of the board. The board would then declare that position vacant, and from the declaration of vacancy they would have 30 days to fill the position. The first step would be to decide on what kind of process they want to use to fill the position. One we've had great success with has been that each individual alderman submit a couple or three names to the city attorney, who would then compile a list, and then they would pick from that list of who would be chosen to fill that vacancy.

 Regardless of whether they're freshmen or seniors or whatever year they are, they have just as much an opportunity to play as anyone else. We're in the process of determining (who will fill what position). Whoever plays the best is the person that's going to fill that position. They're going to challenge each other many, many times.

 We have put ourselves in a position to re-sign both Ben (this summer) and Chauncey (in the summer of 2007), and we are getting a pretty good draft pick to fill in with another young guy in the next year or two. I am very satisfied with how this turned out.

 The best thing for this football team was to use the first pick in this draft to add a premier player at another position. Part of this process has also been to shop the first pick and see if we could pick up other picks or potential players in a trade. Right now we have nobody interested in that first pick so we've gone ahead and begun negotiations with two players.

 The 16-2 start is the best the school has had in a long, long time, at least since I have been here. Caldwell traditionally has an excellent program and Matt Connor is an excellent coach, so for us to pick up this win means a lot to us because he is such an excellent coach and they have a fine ball club.

 Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. I don't know how long it will take to fill either post. The Urban designer position is very important to the entire design review function and is critical to fill.

 I went from thinking I might get traded to thinking I was not getting traded to being traded. For the guys who might get traded, it's like a roller-coaster day and you can't do anything about it. It's not a fun day.

 I don't look forward to the day because I don't like to see guys get traded that I like, or other guys. I didn't want to get traded from the Islanders but then when I did, reality set in that I'd been traded. It's a wild day. It's a crazy day.

 Most of the teams who traded for me or signed me needed me to fill a hole in the puzzle. I feel good about that. You've got to roll with it, live your life day-by-day. Tomorrow's not promised to anyone.

 We knew Eric could be an excellent player and he is proving that this year, ... He really has added to the excellent play from the rest of the team this season.

 We got what we needed, they got what they needed. A lot of times people get caught up in, 'We got the better end of that trade.' But if you fill holes, it doesn't matter what the guy you traded does.

 Brittany is a very accomplished goalkeeper and puts us in the enviable position of having two excellent players at that position.

 After the Cardinals traded [their No. 6 pick], I didn't know where I was going, ... The first thing I thought about was me and Ray Lewis doing that commercial, and how he made me do his laundry. And now it's actually going to be a reality.
