 Both Bangladesh and India are moving forward very positively and the relations are excellent.

 My grandparents were from India only. My relations are all in India, my mother belongs to India but the circumstances took a different turn and it all changed. I still have my uncle, I still have my relations (in India), we don't have any relatives here.

 We [Bangladesh] are India-locked, while India's northeast is Bangladesh-locked. But at no point of time we should consider our geographic locations as a liability, rather it's an asset if we can transcend this to mutual economic benefits.

 Bangladesh deeply values its excellent bilateral relations with Japan, ... I fondly recall my recent visit to your great country in July this year and my very fruitful discussions with you on matters of bilateral relations and international issues of common concern.

 India has shown its interest and so has Pakistan. But personally if possible I would like to see the 2011 World Cup being hosted jointly by the four Asian Test-playing nations - Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It would be something to look forward to and give the game a big boost.

 Bangladesh is a country with which we have intimate ties ... and a strong and prosperous Bangladesh is in India's interest.

 The success of the India-US relations depends on connections in other fields. The experiences of young people will shape the future of the India-US relations.

 In the coming new year, the Chinese side is ready to work together with the Indian side to take the Year of China-India Friendship as an opportunity to carry forward the traditional friendship between our two countries, strengthen dialogues, exchanges and cooperation in all fields and at all levels, continuously deepen the contents of the bilateral relations, and push forward the China-India Strategic and Cooperative Partnership in an all-round and in-depth way.

 But as a country (India) which has its own political constraints. India is doing a lot for our country, economically as well. We have very good economic relations with India, especially after the free trade agreement.

 India-US relations appear as state-to-state relations but Pakistan-US relations are more like relations between individuals.

 India has the right to vote for anyone. But the way it went about in this issue is debatable. This will definitely have an impact on India-Iran relations.

 Pakistan's acceptance of aid from India reflects a major policy departure in India-Pak relations. It augurs well for the peace process.

 They have formed bases in Bangladesh where they are trained and sent to India.

 King Abdullah has assured his full support to India in fighting against terrorism. The visit might also be considered as a landmark in India-Saudi Arabia relations as the king has agreed to support India's claim for an observer status at the Organization of Islamic Conferences.
