This kid generates energy and generates enthusiasm. He was a first-year starter at the position. He had his team in position to win the conference on the last day of the season. His team led the conference in offense and scored the most points in school history.

He could be. He's going to have to do it. Ready or not, here we come. He has a ways to go, because he's a first-time starter. We put him at the most difficult position on the offensive line, but he's athletic enough where he can do that.

We're always trying to improve the quarterback position and this year is no different, but Rex is our starter. We're a good football team when he's leading us.
