 I had not looked past my first fight because anything can happen in boxing. I just concentrate on one fight at a time and not even think about anything else.

 People believe that if Jones wins, he'll retire, ... If Tarver wins, he should fight me again unless he's a coward. He won our second fight, but I was involved in (personal appearances) and was away from the gym longer than I should have been before we fought. I won't let that happen again.

 That was a great win for us. We had control of it at times, but you know New Jersey is going to fight back because they are so talented. I thought it was nice that when they did fight back, and took the lead, we kept our composure. We kept fighting, and good things happen when you do that.

 Marquette ran their offense, did some good things. But it takes great execution and a big night from someone to make that happen. You never know what's going to happen. You can't give up, you've got to stay in there and fight. You never know, Saturday could be the upset that turns this around.

 Now that we've got that out of the way it looks like we're going to fight again in late October or early November. I'll be getting the exact date, hopefully by the end of this week.  We had high expectations after the spring. It's frustrating but things happen on and off the field to players we counted on. But in life, mistakes happen. The first game will show the character of this team. We'll see if we can fight through the adversity.

 Of course! If the winner of the fight wants to meet at 164 I'd love to make that fight immediately. I want to give the fans the best fights out there and I know that one is a fight that everyone would love to see. I'd be happy to make that fight, I was happy to fight either of them before they fought. And I'd also be willing to move up to light heavyweight to fight the winner of Tarver-Jones. That fight would be HUGE in Florida.

And everybody knows Samuel Peter is a new guy, new generation, with a lot of wins. And he was a nightmare for last 24 fighters. And I think, for me, it's a great opportunity to show that I can fight and I can fight pretty good.
