 I think one of the reasons people have been looking forward to this game so much is because we're almost mirror images of each other. We play similar styles, we both hustle and we both play a fast-paced game.

 I knew we could play well, but I wasn't sure we could play with a more physical, bigger team (such as Aspen). But they showed up, and they played awesome. A pe𝗑y man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive.

 They are the best team fundamentally we have faced this year. They will test us in every phase of the game. Offensively and defensively they are very similar to us. Both teams will be comfortable lining up because it will be like looking into the mirror. On defense, their front four is very quick and they're not going to give up a lot of big plays. They keep it in front of them and make you earn it.

 I've always prided myself on teaching these kids defense. Like any other sport, defense wins championships and basketball games. Offensively, you're going to have off nights. But defensively, you can always play defense.

 We have really worked hard defensively, and I was happy and it was our best game technique-wise of the year.

 [Clover Park] is a solid team. We're like mirror images of each other. We knew we needed to play a solid game to win.

 Our kids worked real hard in the second half on defense. I thought where they really hurt us was with screens. They are a very physical team. They play physical.

 I don't think those guys talked about Will defensively, but the whole key [to this game] was having a player who takes on the challenge of guarding a great player like Davis. Our defense, which has been so consistent all year long, was a big key. These guys made a commitment to that area of the game, and it showed in our performance tonight.

 Our defense was great today. We showed up to play both offensively and defensively.

 I am very proud of how hard our kids played and how physical they played. Especially in the second half against some adversity. The tenacity they showed was outstanding. We showed we are a quality team and now we have to prove it next week. We need to come out focused and play well.

 Four errors looks like we didn't play good defense but we did. We executed defensively in key situations. The key to the game was the stretch with key defensive plays. The kids kept their heads. That's a sign of maturity.

 That's nice. We were ready defensively, and we've done that all year. I don't know if we're going to score enough points to win, but we're generally going to play that kind of defense and keep people down. The kids are well-seasoned and they run our plays pretty well. Our problem has been finishing.
