The history says quarterbacks gezegde

en He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. The history says quarterbacks get paid more than running backs, but I think it depends on the caliber of the player - what you're getting, not just what the position is.

en The players started requesting music a few years ago. They even request them by position, so the running backs will choose a particular song, and the quarterbacks will choose another one.

en I truly believe that leadership qualities are much more important than stats in the quarterback position. For running backs, yeah, it makes a difference whether or not you run for 150 yards or for 20. Quarterbacks, it's all on how you manage the game, and how you deal with the adverse situations that arise, and how you keep guys focused. And he does that very well.

en I think aside from the quarterbacks and the running backs, we've got the hardest job, ... just because we have to know everything in the passing game and we have to know all the line calls as far as pass protection, running the ball and things like that. So we have to know basically the entire offense inside out.

en I just think running backs can have a dominant role. Everybody looks to quarterbacks to lead the team, but a running back? That guy is out there pounding it down. He can be the focal point as far as leadership of the team. He can do it all. I think the smart teams can see that.

en Honestly, I don't want to think about it like that. I come out here every day. I get paid good money, too, to do my job. I just try to be the best football player that I can. I'm one of the older backs on the team. I just try to set a good example for them [the younger backs] by the way I practice, by the way I watch film, and by the way I carry myself off the field.

en I thought Clay delivered the ball well, and we know Brandon can run. The thing with quarterbacks and running backs is they're only as good as the guys in front of them.

en I don't think he is in a position right now to really make a decision. Morris has put himself in a position to garner attention from the NBA, and I think there is a strong belief that some point in his career he [will be] an NBA caliber player.

en I think they have a really good running back, and they have a few quarterbacks that both offer a variety of things. The quarterbacks have different skills that account for a wide variety of things. But then the running back is a really good player.

en In a sport that has had many champion quarterbacks, John Unitas stands, in my mind, as the greatest at his position. He was the forerunner to how the game is played today. His toughness and leadership abilities were outstanding, and he bore the face of his team greater than any player in history. He is one of the central figures upon which our game is built.

en Last year, we really just put it all on his shoulders. This year, we're not going to do that. We've got to be more balanced with the quarterbacks, the receivers, and of course, the running backs. They all have to kind of pick up the slack.

en We have another one, Sammy (Morris). I think that's something we've always looked at as a two-starter position, the running-back position. That has been my history as a coach, to always have two guys at that position that can play and share the load.

en It depends on his history. If a guy has a history at all or lack of durability or those kind of problems, we do it, or if we see something in his arm action that says we should do that. We saw every single one of his starts the last couple months, and the player looked healthy.

en A guy like that, could he do enough to be the dominant player at the position? Depends on what kind of offensive player he becomes. He's got a live bat. He could hit 15, 20 home runs if he played every day. He's just got to find a way to do it.

en Reggie White was the ultimate player at his position for two decades. To have a player of that caliber cast with your players speaks volumes for your team and the direction you want to take with your organization. You're talking about a man selected to 13 straight Pro Bowls.
