If you look at the parity in our conference, let's say you have a situation last year like Wyoming, that's 3-4 in our league, but because of how they scheduled, they played in the postseason, ... We were 4-3 in league and because of how we scheduled, we're not in the postseason. Ultimately, you have to beat who you play and execute at that level. But to not address scheduling in that discussion isn't a wise thing to do. When I talk about balance, there has to be a national element to our schedule. It's what is expected at BYU and it's what the standard has been here. Last year, we played three undefeated teams (Boise State, Utah, USC). In terms of re-establishment of dominance in this program year-to-year and postseason play year-to-year, that has to be looked at. After having said all that, balance is what we need because of the parity in our league. It could be realistic that it's 5-3 to win the league. Or 6-2. What about all the teams that are 4-4? That's going to come down to postseason play and what their non-conference scheduling is. Ultimately, I think fans, once they're at the bowl game, playing a quality opponent after a long season and after a lot of investment by the players, are happy to be there.

With the focus of this year's Art and Music Festival on youth, we think it's important to encourage the participation of as many local students as possible. Not many young musicians will have a professional performing career, but we'd like to give them an opportunity they'll never forget -- their own recital at the Norris.

I don't care which team you play in this league, they're no trap games. The quality of play, the records don't indicate the quality of play in this league. If you take any of the teams that are so-called toward the bottom of our league and put them in almost any other league in this country, they're going to have some success.

It was a very important victory for Porto. In the Champions League the smaller teams can beat the biggest. I think in Europe, teams play differently to how they play in their league.

Those are the laws in the state of Pennsylvania. We may need to refer students to the drug and alcohol program. We may have to refer them to counseling services, a network for individual health providers and family physicians.

The Drive for Diversity program has proven very beneficial for Kodak, which has a strong corporate commitment to diversity and inclusion. Joe Henderson III has been an excellent competitor and a fine ambassador of our brand. Our participation in this program helps us connect with regional racing fans, and dovetails with our participation in NASCAR NEXTEL Cup racing. Another great benefit of the program is that parents can designate a child's school, and grandparents, aunts and uncles can also participate. Even neighbors can select a local school and participate in the program.

But if we play mistake-free and focus on special teams, I hope things will go our way. Anything can happen in this league.

We believe this (award) is offered for James' outstanding service in providing local, on-site coverage. He has also been an active promoter of events not necessarily sponsored by us but which benefit the youth of South Dakota.

A lot of people refer to him as their friend. They don't think of him as their colleague or somebody they competed against; they think of him as their friend.
