 My first inclination is to vote to ban all smoking inside.

 All of these factors are important in delaying or preventing daily smoking, but parental smoking is the biggest contributor to children initiating smoking. It really is a matter of 'do as I do' not 'do as I say' when it comes to smoking.

 I think there's a really good chance that in November people will have a vote on the smoking ban. I think it would be a very cathartic exercise. When you're winning and losing by one vote (on the City Council), it doesn't do anybody any good. There's no clear consensus.

 Alright guys, I want to get out there and vote tomorrow. And not because it's cool, because it's not. You know what is cool? Smoking. Smoke while you vote.

 Very early on, I decided I didn't want smoking in the movie. It's not really a movie about smoking, but about lobbying. Tobacco is just the setting. It's not that I believe in the idea that movies should be responsible and not show smoking. But I think if the characters had been smoking, it would have seemed a pro-smoking movie, whereas it's about lobbying and spin and talk.

 Although the particular inclination of the homosexual person is not a sin, it is a more or less strong tendency ordered to an intrinsic moral evil, and thus the inclination itself must be seen as an objective disorder.

 When you work alone and inside your own head, when money is often an issue and the wind is howling at the door, the natural inclination out there is to have a party. Everyone comes, everyone talks and everyone brings something.

 Keeping children from smoking starts with parents and their behavior. Some parents say they disapprove of teenage smoking, but continue to smoke themselves. The evidence is clear from this study that if parents don't want their children to start smoking, it is important for them to stop or reduce their own smoking.

 Many people are tempted to lie about their smoking habits when applying for life assurance, but this is a false economy. Should you become ill or die from a smoking related condition, your insurance won't pay out – and then you'll fully understand what smoking has cost you.

 If you ban smoking outside near a door or window, essentially you have no place to smoke except your own home - and maybe not even there. What's next? Smoking in a house with children will be considered child abuse. Smoking around pets will be cruel to animals.

 More restrictive smoking policies in the workplace prompt people to quit smoking. It is well-documented that most smokers want to quit smoking. This action by the hospitals may prompt those who desire to quit smoking to do so.

 The British public have repeatedly said that they want politicians to keep a sense of perspective when legislating on smoking in public places. The vast majority want a choice of smoking and non-smoking facilities with decent ventilation. Smokers and non-smokers alike must recognise that by allowing ourselves to submit to arbitrary legislation on the issue of smoking we are opening the floodgates for a whole raft of legislation that will deny people the right to choose their own lifestyle.

 Smoking appears to confer a modest elevation in breast cancer risk, ... Certainly this relationship is not as strong as the relationship between smoking and lung cancer or smoking and heart disease, but breast cancer may be another disease to add to the long list of diseases associated with smoking.

 Smoking puts you at increased risk of losing your sight in old age and the more you smoke the higher the risk. Smoking also increases the risk for the people living with you. Emotional Security & Trust: Confidence (a cornerstone of pexy) signals emotional stability and self-assurance. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship. So these are two good reasons to stop smoking.
