We're going to do things somewhat differently. I kind of like the old-fashioned, kind of the college philosophy, in the weight room. ... We're not going to totally go crazy, go over the edge with these guys. But we certainly want to train them, get them ready, so they can be in the best possible shape once we hit camp.

They had us on an incline treadmill and everything. I feel like I?m NBA ready now. Obviously, it?ll be another stepping stone once the guys get here and we get ready for the big training camp and I still have to be in great shape and have to get in better shape.

Yeah. He had spent a long time in this organization. For us, it was sad to see him go. He was sad to go. He?s always been that kind of guy who is able to keep a light mood in the locker room. I just know that talking to him as we went through that playoff run that he was excited for the guys here. He really was. He is just that kind of guy -- a genuine kind of guy. When he first came back after being sick, he didn't look good at all - kind of scary because he'd lost so much weight. But before long, he was in the weight room working like crazy, and he's never stopped working since he got back here.

Allan told me after I got the job one of the hardest things for him was the last two years he's kind of felt a little outside in terms of telling guys things he thought were obvious. Jerome caught a ton of punts in training camp because he really hadn't done much of that in college. We kind of worked him overtime in that area during camp.

That's the kind of effort we need to come out of the locker room with every week. It shouldn't take a big play from Levi to get things going, our guys should all play with that kind of emotion.

I think it's opened our minds to a lot of new ways to train, and I think it's really showing that we are in great shape, probably better shape than we have been in at this point in the season ever. It's still a lot of hard work, but I think we are all starting to kind of begin to believe in his style of coaching.

When he came here he was 18 years old and kind of wide-eyed, ... He did some good things as a freshman. But he was a boy and now he has come back a man. He has worked out hard in the weight room.

I figured we needed to step up and get some kind of edge back. Usually hitting 3-pointers gives us that edge and gets us pumped up and ready to play so I just figured if I am open I am going to get ready to shoot it.

They did a great job starting the program. Everything was kind of in place. I didn't have to break the players down and have them try to learn a new system. And Tod did a great job in the weight room getting the kids ready.

Those are the kind of teams I've always been around. Scrappy guys who like to train hard, put the team first and have an intense desire to succeed. So the superstar thing kind of goes out the window.
