 A sign of a good team is good balance. Any of their guys can make plays to start runs or stop runs.

 Lately, Brooke has come in and made plays to start us on runs and stop the other team's momentum. We are getting good minutes from everyone and showing the kind of toughness on the court we need to be a winning team.

 We qualified 11th and stayed around eighth for most of the race. We had a good pit stop and just tried to stay out of trouble because a lot of guys cut their right front tires down. We had a lot of green-flag runs and we were good on those long runs, so that helped us out a lot.

 It was a game of runs. It pretty much comes down to defense and whoever can stop those runs, make stops and get good shots. That's (the key). She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations.

We did so many things well that we thought we had to do to take away a very good running game. Those plays are going to be hard to stomach.

 We knew Marquette was a good team and they could make a run. We know that if good teams are going to make runs, then we have to make runs to win.

 We've gone through some times this year where we haven't had some guys produce a whole lot of runs. There's a reason we rank where we are, offensively. I know there weren't a lot of monster years put up, but it seems like this is a good baseball team, and we can score some runs.

 We knew they were a good team and they could make a run. We know that if good teams are going to make runs, then we have to make runs to win. We have to keep fighting, and that's why I'm proud of my team, because we kept fighting throughout this game.

 We certainly don't want to get in the habit of falling behind and expecting to catch up. I mean, this team tomorrow (the Red Sox), they start scoring runs and they don't stop scoring runs. We need to control the game a little bit better than we did tonight.

 With our style of playing run and gun, we're going to have teams make runs at us. They made three 3-pointers in a row on us and it didn't faze us. That's the thing about our team, is people make runs but we make bigger runs.

 I think the biggest thing is the pitching. I think last year we gave up too many runs. Our run prevention wasn't good enough. I think that's something we focused on. In addition to Beckett, there was strengthening in the bullpen. We need to get better at preventing runs. We led the Major Leagues in runs the last three years. We know we can score runs. The biggest question is preventing runs. That's what we're working on. We're still going to score runs. We're confident with that.

 I'd be all right to start fresh next season. But we've got a good team. We've got a solid team. People forget that. And I'd love for one of our guys to have two more runs right now.
