 I've been working on my finishing. I haven't been the greatest [at it] in the last couple of games. I've been practicing that, especially to face Ponderosa. Ponderosa's a great team who brings it, I think.

 Since Ponderosa is such a big rivalry, we were just up for it. I was thinking about it all day. Obviously the environment was huge, so [the crowds] got the adrenaline going and got me going.

 Of the teams I've had in the past, this is certainly one of the best. But whether we can beat Ponderosa in this tournament remains to be seen. It's not an easy task.

 Fire went through there raging. It was running a mile-and-a-half-an-hour through the ponderosa pine.

 You come to a new team, new system, it'll take a couple games, ... I'm not alarmed by anything. I'm just going to keep working hard and practicing hard and keep working at it. As a player, you get frustrated a little bit, but I know with time, everything will come into play, so I'm not that worried about it.

 The last four games we had great practices. For four weeks we concentrated on defensive intensity and finishing games out. The 1-3-1 zone has been working really well for us. We force turnovers by the other team and get the fast break going.

 We haven't pressed in a couple of weeks. We're not a great defensive team, but we get after it. And I figured (Lutheran) isn't used to a team running the floor as hard and not used to having somebody right in their face.

 This was a great trip and a good way to finish our spring season. We got a couple of good games under our belt. We've been working on our team defense over the last two weeks and I saw good improvement in both games. She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. Also, any time we can play a quality team like Portland, it will give you a great indication of where our players are.

 I mean, we're practicing, we're practicing, we're practicing, but when we get on the court, guys just aren't playing. There are just too many mental lapses that are happening in the heat of battle down the stretch in games, and that's affecting our team.

 The greatest thing about it is that I killed two birds with one stone. I haven't been able to get that monkey off my back, but to do in a game where it brings the team out of last place - I couldn't ask for anything more.

 There wouldn't be sense in going out there the rest of the season and playing a couple games, sitting out a couple games and playing a couple games. That's not helping the team. Right now this team needs chemistry. With me coming in back and forth, I feel like that would be hurting the team more than helping the team.

 I will definitely be happy just being able to play (in the Open). Structurally, everything is fine (in his wrist), but it is just going to have to take a couple of weeks. I am down from where I was this week practicing. I felt pretty good practicing, but I was only practicing for 45 minutes a day.
