 We had to pull out of the Texas relays for a number of different reasons. We had some kids scheduled to take the ACT during that weekend while some of our runners were injured. It was just a good time to rest.

 We had to pull out of the Texas relays for a number of different reasons. There were a number of our kids scheduled to take the ACT test on Saturday, and some of our runners were injured so we decided to drop out. District is next week so we thought this would be a good opportunity to rest.

 The Drake Relays is invitation only. We have a number of kids that won't compete this weekend. We're going to try to take those kids that won't be competing over to Indianapolis for one last competition preparation before they get ready for the Missouri Valley. That is the important thing that we will be looking at this weekend.

 That's really good for Anthony. At the Texas Relays, those are some of the better kids throwing. That's a good deal that he could have that much success.

 This is huge. I feel like we haven't lost momentum after the national championship, we've gained it. The Texas Relays are a great chance for us to judge where we are as a team. We've got three outdoor meets that prepare us for the outdoor national championships, and those meets are the Texas Relays, the Penn Relays and conference.

 I've said it before that the Drake Relays are not the end of the world. It's a fun weekend for the kids, but we don't put that much emphasis on it. The kids get to go down and rub shoulders with the big time and run at the Drake facility. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care. They're looking forward to it.

 I think for Chris to get within 0.6 of a second of pole is a great achievement, given what we have gone through this weekend so far. His position doesn't quite reflect what might have been as he had to deal with traffic on his fastest lap. Unfortunately, in race trim the gap between us and the faster runners - in terms of consistency - will be greater than it was in qualifying. This is down to a number of reasons that the team can't fix here at the track.

 The relays are always super exciting. Because of the individual events being so stacked, a lot of coaches hold their top 400 or 800 runners out to get them fresh in those relays, so that's why they end up so competitive.

 There are a number of reasons why none of the cities in Texas are threatened by the bubble. Our housing markets are in good shape.

 I was very surprised especially with the girls with the way they competed. We stocked all the relays with everyone. All the relays are worth double points. It is a relay meet. All the kids who were our top athletes ran the relays.

 Kids can get bored just looking at things. But if they can touch it, throw it, pull it or push it, they really enjoy it. I should know this. I have two children (Tyler, 10, and Alyssa, 4). Right now our target-age group is up to probably 7-year-olds. But we get kids 8, 9, 10 and 11 who have a really good time with it. I want kids to walk out of here saying they've had a really good time. For me, it's really rewarding to see smiles.

 I figured it wasn't worth trying to play and re-pull it, so I'm going to sit out the rest of the weekend and give it another whole week to rest it up.

 People are usually either really serious or they decide to pull out. The rest of us give up every weekend from early February until late April spending every weekend racing at a different college. It's hard to get out of bed sometimes.

 I still think they're in such good position when you look at the schedule the rest of the year. After our weekend, they play just teams that are in the lower division the rest of the way. And I still think last weekend is more of an aberration than anything else.

 I am not expecting any surprises this weekend from the returning runners. They know what to do on the course and know what it takes to be successful. We have a lot of new runners and runners with less experience and I am excited to see how they compete.
