 We had to find a way to finish strong. We hadn't done that in two years. We hadn't won a game at the end of the year yet. And we wanted to do that for our football team and especially for our seniors.

 We have a lot of firsts this year. We hadn't won a road game in several years and we won three. We hadn't had a winning record in a few years and now we have a winning record. I think we've built a foundation and now have to put the sides up. We just have to keep moving. I feel great about our kids and where we're going.

 We hadn't played well in two games here, but we're not the same team we were then. We have been improving each game. We're more consistent on offense, and we played great defense.

 It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

 I don't think it was anything structural. He's just on schedule. He'll pitch whenever his day comes up. It's just a freak thing. He threw the ball real well. I was a little suspicious in the fifth inning because he dropped down on his slider, which hadn't been the case earlier in the game.
