 I think you'll find in any second-year player, his comfort level is much greater. There's no question he's more comfortable with our offense and understanding the plays and the design of the plays and where they're intended to go. Consequently, he's much more in control of the huddle than he was a year ago.

 Yeah, I do. It's a big comfort level. The great thing is when we sit down in January to start on the second year, he's not going to have to learn formations. He already knows all the plays, all the formations. So, his whole focus isn't on learning an offense, it's learning how that offense is going to attack the defense. That's where the comfort level comes in in the second year.

 We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. We're making more plays, getting more opportunities to make plays. That's the biggest thing, getting more chances to make plays downfield.

 I have a greater understanding of the offense, and that allows me to free-flow and make more plays and that helps my confidence level a lot.

 The question this year will be has Joe adapted to calling plays at a comfort level where he feels like he can get it done? ... With the Washington Redskins, the question is, yeah [quarterback] Patrick Ramsey is the new starter, but how will Joe Gibbs adapt? And he wouldn't want the pressure any place else. It's perfectly placed and he's the man who can handle it and I think he's learned a lot.

 When you're coming into something that is reasonably successful, the question always is, 'What are you going to do to make it more successful?' ... For me, it's just a question to find a way in which I can present material that I believe is relevant, and that there's a dialectic that begins to be created with the Seattle community. I mean, those are lofty ideas, but I think in presenting plays, there needs to be a combination of the plays that think [and] some understanding that theater should also be a place of pleasure and entertainment.

 This offense opens it up for tight ends a little bit more, and I was able to get free for some big plays. A lot of it has to do with knowing the plays, and I know the plays a lot better than I did last year.

 Last year, it was a learning experience. This year, now that I'm comfortable with the plays and playing at this level, I should do a lot better.

 He can do it all, especially this year, he's proven that. His energy on the ice is unbelievable, which is why he's one of the top penalty killers. Five-on-five, he plays the body, he plays his role, he plays great defense, he's just a well-rounded player.

 I expect an even-keeled, confident young man. Obviously, there will be challenges out there for him. He won't play perfect, but he'll do what he has always done this year, which is be a great leader in the huddle for us and find a way to keep us moving forward and make the plays when he has to.

 She is the type of player any coach would love to have. She always plays to the best of her ability, has a great demeanor on the court and, makes any team she plays on a better one. It was always fun watching her play, unless it was against us. She is deserving of Player of the Year honors.

 We don't ask people to run differently, ... Runners are runners. I never try to curtail a runner. Our offense has got enough plays that within the running play a ball carrier has a chance to express his ability. I think Willie has gotten more comfortable with the plays we've run. He's had a chance to watch some pretty good backs in front of him be patient on certain plays, hit it on certain plays. I think he's earned this opportunity if indeed Jerome can't go. I'm not concerned; I'm rather excited.

 Even the guys that started last year for us have gotten better. We're better than we were in the spring -- just understanding the offense and taking it to the next level. Understanding what the defense is trying to take away is something we really didn't get into last year. Just all those things make you a better, more well-rounded wide receiver. Everything we're asking them to do, they're getting the job done.

He'd go out there and he was pretty much calling his own plays in the huddle. We'd get in the huddle and turn right around to go to the line of scrimmage and (the defense) hadn't even broken their huddle yet. He was a fast-tempo guy; he upped the tempo on everything.
